Some factory FDE parts, some cerakote and here is my new 300blk build.  I really like the royal arms lower as it this will be an SBR in the future and it will be nice with a somewhat bare lower for engraving.  I'll be ditching the barrel and rail when my stamp comes in and going with a 10" barrel and 10" bar rail to match.  I'm going to go black with FDE ladder rails to balance everything and the biggest lesson I learned here is that metal FDE and plastic FDE are not the same.  Th grip matches the stock, but all the metal is a different shade.  No big deal, this will be my desert gun and once suppressed will see enough real sand that it should all look similar.  At least it matches my kitchen.

I'm thinking of cerakoting my 300 sbr upper, lower and handguard coyote brown/patriot brown and switching to FDE Magpul gear.

I did, it was 50$ less than buying from royal directly.  Ive been looking for a "blank" billet for years
