Anyone ever use the MI generation 2 free float tube?  How does it stand up and how hard is it to install?  Or recommend another in the same price range?  Its for a rifle length 15 inch

If you have the tools (correct vice, armorers wrench to remove the stock barrel nut, torque wrench) and know how to use them, install is very simple. I've had multiple SS G2 rails and the SS Keymod. All excellent quality.

If you are on a budget and don't have the tools, I'd recommend something that uses the stock barrel nut.

Actually they are super easy to install.  Pull the old barrel nut, install the new one using the supplied nut wrench.  Slide the HG onto the nut and tighten.  DONE!
