Barrels with permanent flash hiders?

I'm aiming for a small, lightweight build, so I want a 14.5" barrel with at least a 1.5" flash hider. I know pinning the flash hider isn't a very big deal, and I could probably handle it just fine. But ideally, I would like to just buy a barrel with a flash hider already permanently fixed. I've looked around a little bit, probably not as much as i should, but haven't had any luck. Am I just wasting my time?

It depends on the barrel and rail configuration you want. Welcome to the site by the way.
Are you starting with a standard 14.5"inch M4 barrel with a pinned front site base?

I'm not sure if they sell them on a 14.5 pinned but consider the voodoo innovations manimal.
it's .749 so if you ever want to change gas blocks they will slide over it

Will that work with the new Gemtech Titanium Halo? The mount is different than the old Halo.....

just a guess but no. its the same size as a standard barrel almost.

The voodoo between an A2 and an A2extended

the top is between an A2 extended and a A2 PSA
The bottom two are showing that it'll fit inside standard gas blocks. Where the A2 won't.

Negative on the pinned front site base. Right now, the plan is to throw a YHM 9.5" SLR Slant Series handguard on it.
For the barrel, I had a Spike's 14.5" picked out, 1:7 twist, but that went out of stock or got discontinued, can't remember which. Since then, I've just been hoping to skip the step of pinning and welding the flash hider. It's really the only part(and the next step, conveniently) of the build that has me stuck, for some reason.

I'm just waiting on the right time to send it in and get it pinned. Gotta wait till the wife isn't watching my credit cards so close. Her birthday is coming and she watches like a hawk to see what I spent on her.

If you like the VooDoo VDI Manimal then look here, you might have to be a member to see it, I am not sure, but the price is very good. Their websitr is difficult to navigate, but the internet still seems like the back roads of Belgium rather than the Interstate Highway system. Your Mileage May Vary.
