Noveske recently shipped out their last batch...so it'll probably be the last ones we see.  DSG Arms, Joe Bob's and a couple of other places that are authorized Noveske retailers should be getting them any day now...get them while you can!

Does anyone know how much DSG sells them for? I can't find the product on their website.

Nevermind. A search came up with nothing, but I found them by weaving through their website. They're $245 each.

I couldn't believe it this afternoon when I saw they were available. I was just told today that Noveske told their dealer that there will not be stripped Gen III's available for sale by themselves. I picked up four of these Gen II's today.

This ... "They told us they were not going to sell stripped Gen 3 lowers. They mentioned that they may sell matched upper lower combos sometime in the distant future."

Good to know. Thanks for the info.

I love my gen 2 chainsaw.  It was damn near perfect when new, now far less so from healthy use.  Get those Gen 2s while they last.

So they've stopped production on Gen2's completely?

But they have plans for a Gen3 but just not stripped?

Why would they do that?  They've sold a fuck ton more of stripped lowers than anything I'd imagine and everyone absolutely loves them.  Not everyone will be able to afford a complete Noveske rifle.

The possibility of the Gen3 stripped upper/lower combo at least sounds promising. - Does anyone have a pic of what the new ones look like?  How are they going to be different from the Gen2's?  (Spec wise but also visually) I know these Novekse's have the issue with the Surefire 60's like Joebob mentions, wondering if they've made some adjustments to make these more "mil-spec" fitting into the AR cookiecutter mold.

*sigh* As soon as the leader is gone things always change...

Didn't really want or plan on getting another lower, but now that you mentioned I will not be able to buy them any more I may just have to pick one up for a (now) proposed .300 Blackout in memory of Johnny!

I have been looking regularly for over a month or more and found NOTHING but chainsaws. After discussing the issue with Noveske I decided I would pre-order some Gen3's, which is how I found out they may not be available and, if they become available, it will be a long time. Noveske Rifleworks is a rifle shop so building rifles takes priority. If you think you might want a Noveske stripped lower, buy it now or you'll regret it!! Let Joe Bob take care of ya!

At the risk of sounding like a complete newb boob, I have to ask what the big deal is with the Noveske lowers. I know that Noveske is super quality but other than that what makes them worth $250? Am I missing something?  Thanks for educating me!!

I suspect it has something to do with controlling the brand. Not selling lowers is a good way to make sure a "Noveske rifle" was actually built to their (high) standards.

You got it all wrong man. You pull it out of "storage" and say man I forgot I had this in there. I'm holding off for spikes next billet they're making. I may have to pull 3-4 out of "storage"

Fyi one being sold on GB had a current bid of $289 with 3 bidders. Not sure if it was above minimum so dont know of it sold, but basically if you EVER wanted a Gen2, right freaking now is probably your last chance at a decent price. At least thats what I told myself when I clicked the Purchase button!
