I tried ordering one from them over the phone and was told they were "in store sells only." What a bummer knowing they still have them in stock but won't ship them..

Think I'll pass at those prices. $250 for a stripped lower. Could get a spikes for $50-$75 more here on the EE.

I ordered one a week before Christmas, had the FFL faxed in that same day, finally received an email saying they had my FFL information and that it would ship soon.  Had not heard anything so emailed them and received a reply that it was backordered and my order should ship in about two weeks.   If that is the case how are they putting more on the website and haven't even filled the orders they have?  I'll give them until mid January before contacting them again...

I imagine they are filling yours. Did you check the status in the "orders" section under your account?

I got this email on Dec 23:
Thank you for your recent order.
We would like to inform you that order #######43 has been transferred to 'Full Metal Jacket' for processing and should ship within the next business day. If this order contains a firearm that is being transferred to a dealer, it will no longer appear in your order history and you will not receive a shipping notification.

So, that is why I emailed them last week to check on it and was told it was backordered and it would ship within two weeks.  Not sure what is the real status now.

What did you order....cause I got the same email, ordered some SAA lowers the 28th when they were showing in stock, I confirmed they received my FFL's info, and got that email on 1/2.  But I haven't touched base with them cause its still within the 10-14 day window.  14 days will be 1/18.

Anybody else able to order from EA lately? called last week and was told to try back later, but today i was told by them to try back in late March!

Not sure how the time frame keeps growing when they won't take your order and don't have a back order list.

Did anyone order one of these? I'm tempted to do it just as a backup in case I don't find something in the next couple weeks. I picked up one of the New Frontier lowers for a good price and will work with that till I can get something else. Figure use the the Polymer lower for light duty on a 22lr.

It's a pre order but reading their terms, you have nothing to lose if you want a spare lower in the relative near future.

I ordered 2 of them a little over a week ago.  Right now all they handle is stripped lowers, and they are trying to get them out as fast as possible.  If you place an order, you will get a confirmation Email right away from Tony the owner.  If you reply back, he will respond, so ask him any questions you may have.  He has posted in these forums already, and seems to be on top of the customer service game.  I'll post some pics when mine come in, maybe some others will as well.

No experience with them but I do have an order in. There lowers are bring made by Detroit gun works who is no longer making there own branded lowers but did do a run of 1500 lowers before they stopped. Everything I've read about there lowers is that they are top notch with a great fit and finish. There has already been at least one run of code red lowers released so they do really sell them. The lowers for this coming run are said to have diffrent roll marks with changes in model number, serial number series with manufacture and location reflecting code red firearms and there location Florida. It will still have that nice scorpion roll mark that I like looks great.

I picked up some dark earth pmags (maglevel) 30 round on gunbroker for just about $21 a piece, a lot of people post their auctions to end at weird times. That is if you can't wait for back orders, just a heads up. All in all the prices on GB have been coming down on most, I watched at least 10 lowers NiB go for under $300 for example around 3a.m. haha, I am hunting a upper (complete).

*edit* mags came brand new in the bag, etc.. no problems.

I was going to. But I decided to go with the offer at Codered this morning. I spoke with them and they were extremely friendly group. Theirs are also Type III anodized instead of Type II. Make them a little tougher to scratch up. 3-4 weeks for delivery still they said, so time line is better for the same cost.

Ordered two Code Red lowers last Thursday, card has been charged, and dealer sent FFL in yesterday (hopefully). Kind of excited to get my first build started.

I also ordered a Rock River trigger kit last Wednesday, but have seen no activity on my card from them. I also emailed, received nothing back, and have tried calling to no avail. I have an order and invoice number from my order. Should I wait it out? Anyone heard out of these guys recently?
