So close.  Ordered a PSA FF Upper on 1/5. It shipped 1/16 and is in Chicago right now. I don't like my rifle bits being there right now.

Starting my next build now, my first was a RRA/bushy. I had a brand new DD lower parts kit sittin around that I was thinking about selling, but then I had a better idea... start a new build! So I have a stripped DPMS lower on the way here and two stripped uppers. Can't decide if I want a 10.5'' barrel or something longer. My rock river has a 16'', so I was kind of wanting something compact with a rail all the way to the flash hider. Will post pics of everything so far soon.

I would like to thank " The Forum" in it's entirety for all of the resources and help. Between the online guides here, Youtube video's and Zedicker's build guide I've built myself an AR. got everything, upper, lower, handle, charger, BCG from Palmetto State Armory and they were very helpful. The shipping for some items took some time. It's got an 8620 BCG, not Carpenter 158, but when things settle down that will change. The Barrel is CMV Hammer Forged " Premium" M4 style barrel. I've taken it to the range and ran about 50 rounds through it like a dream.

The only thing I have left to do if find a BCG and a charging handle. With the way things are going it looks like I'm going to have to wait for everything to calm down before I get one. Unless anyone has any they are willing to sell at a reasonable price. I'm not paying 300+ .
My rifle so far. http://i49.tinypic.com/v742f6.jpg TKS Engineering billet lower receiver. RRA lower parts kit. Magpul CTR mil-spec stock. Vltor MUR-1 upper. Vltor VC-A1 compensator. I am unsure of the barrel and the rail. They both came with the upper. The barrel is marked L 556 NATO 1/9 and the rail has no markings. |

So here's what I have so far for my newest build. Have the stripped upper as you can see, Just need bolt, bcg, and forward assist.
I have the DD LPK and my stripped DPMS lower is at my FFL, just gotta go pick it, and I have a 8'' barrel with a 7'' spikes tactical SAR rail on the way to mi casa. Really eager to get it all put together! The black GI iron sight/carrying handle is for sale if anyone needs one. Just IM me about it.

The smaller aperature actually works great with it back like that. The red dot 65 moa circle is perfect for a rifle target circle at 25 yds as well. |

UTG Pro Handguard (not cheap like most think, actually really solid) Del-Ton LPK Yankee Hill gas block, tube, and flash hider AR-Stoner BCG UTG Pro Stock & Buffer assembly (also not cheap and pretty solid) Need to get some optics on it and work out a problem with it. First time I fired it it wouldn't strip the next round. Dropped my friends BCG into it and it worked fine. Dropped my BCG into his rifle and it worked fine. Not completely sure what the problem is.
