There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part....

nicoroshi - Do you have some kind of special coating on those Glocks? Or is it just the way the light is reflecting off of them?
Stock coating on the Glocks. They are wiped down with CLP after every range trip though, and may be showing some holster wear at the muzzles. Both have AGrip on the handles.

Remember, the Glock lower is polymer and the slide is metal so they'll reflect light differently, especially in pictures if a flash was used. |

nicoroshi, Can we get some specs on your ar's? especially the one on the right. thanks. |

I bought nothing but parts, and built her: http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/993/dscn2122wz3.jpg http://img73.imageshack.us/img73/7697/dscn1975dy1.jpg Oh, and her name is Nikki (thanks to my daughter) She shoots more accurately than I can aim her, and likes eating the 69gr BTHP match ammo the best but does well with 55gr also. Sitting with bipod 10 shot group: http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/3723/dscn2172copyyd0.jpg On the left is my 6.8 SPC (Her name is Artemis again thanks to my daughter who decided they needed names....who am I to argue): Mega Gator lower (caliber multi) w/ standard lpk (bought at a gun show so unsure of the maker) KNS pins (again .155 for a snug fit) POF 16" upper with predator rail, 6.8 SPC II chambered , chrome lined heavy profile fluted barrel, and chamber 1:11.3 twist 5R nickel plated carrier, charging handle (big latch) and upper receiver, chromed bolt, POF gas piston equipped. I think it well. Everything put together by myself other than the lower receiver and trigger group. The Lower is a Stag with basic trigger group. The upper is from SOG armory. The barrel is a 10.5" from Del-Ton with a Noveske hinder. A basic collapsible stock. The iron sights are from Troy industries and the optics are Eotech. The halo is the 552 and the magnifier is the 3x with flip to side mount. The grips are both Tango Down with hideaways for batteries. The light is a Surefire Scout Light. Considering all of the different parts that I threw at this over the long building and paying process I was worried about the workings. But it fires wonderfully. The paint is all Krylon Camo brand and modeled after the Multicam format. It ended up being a little darker than Multicam but I am happy about it. Next project is a Remigton 700 more than likely but still working through a bunch of research. Holla Holla Holla. |
