Finished mine a couple weeks ago, just now getting around to taking pics. This was a budget build that went a little over budget but I'm happy with it for now. In the future I will add an eotech but it was not in the budget at the moment.

Not the most recent picture, but it gives a general idea. I recently upgraded the YHM flip-up front sight/gas block, YHM QDS flip up rear sight and a YHM 5M1 comp/break. I will try to update the pics soon.

Started with a local shops build and added: Troy 13" Alpha Rail Magpul front and rear Gen 2 BUS' Magpul AFG Magpul MOE Trigger Guard Magpul Enhanced Butt Pad LaRue QD mount w/ Vortex SPARC LaRue Red/White/Blue index clips Single Point sling addapter & Shaddox multi point/single point sling The other is a Springfield Sub XD-9 w/ crimson trace laser guard, Trijicon night sights and extended clips

Finally getting somewhere on this one, just need the muzzle gizmo, a BAD lever, and a little more work on the trigger. Logic be damned, I'll make a decent trigger out of milspec parts! Mostly because I'm a cheap bastard and don't want to cut into my glass budget.
Para lower Upper and BCG swiped off my CMMG carbine, which is demanding an Vltor MUR in compensation Red X 16" stainless fluted HBAR Samson Evo 10" rail MI gas block YHM black gas tube, just because it was cool looking Gunfighter charging handle PRS stock, because I've wanted one for years MOE grip, because I have them on everything MOE trigger guard, because the milspec thing sucks LPK with a horse on the label, can't remember who's it is, but it seemed pretty decent The plan was a lighter, more compact precision gun. Definitely got the lighter and more compact parts. Around 8 pounds and 35" OAL. The Samson rail, it's hardware, and an MI gas block weighs less than the delta ring, handguard cap, folding front sight, and MOE handguards. The glass is going away shortly in favor of something better. That's a cheapy I used on my CETME for a bit until I decided that shooting through a periscope wasn't my thing. |

LOWER: DPMS lower Stag LPK Magpul MOE grip in FDE Vltor buffer tube Brownells buffer and spring Magpul MOE stock in FDE UPPER: DPMS complete upper..16" with 1:9 Troy low profile gas block DPMS BCG Magpul MBUIS in FDE Troy 5.56 Medieval Flash Suppressor MI Gen2 Free Float Carbine Rail..10" LaRue Index Clips in FDE Vortex StrikeFire Green/Red dot I built this as a budget build basically to see if I could pull it off..I'm sure after I shoot it a while things will get changed.. just finished it up this afternoon after work, hopefully will get some better pics tomorrow |

Well finally was able to finish my rifle after losing some tiny detents trying to put in my front takedown pin. Anyway here she is! Shitty iphone pics ftl.

(Just til the day I can afford something better) Some generic charging handle from Surplus Ammo when they had a free shipping sale and some cheap 3 point sling I had from my deployment. C-Products 5.56 30rd Magazine I forget exactly but the price turned out to be about $720 Mostly just for shooting at the range and plinking at my friend's hunting shack. |

Hello everyone thought this would be a good as place as any to into myself. This is my first build.
and now for a short list of parts TM stripped Lower now with a DPMS LPK ARFx Stock PSA blem stripped upper with BCM bolt PSA Barrel YHM Rifle length FF MAGPUL BUIS the stock is a little short for my lanky arms so i'm still up in the air as to what i wanna try next. along with optics but i'm happy with her for now. also its just resting on the bipod for now still waiting on the stud to get here in the mail. any and all comments welcome. http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/s533/egemaehlich/PART_1350564311949.jpg |

Almost done with this one. I'll be swapping out the Nikon M-223 for the Nikon 5-20x44 that's on my Savage while it's at the smith getting the barrel cut and threaded. When the Savage demands it's glass back I'll put the Super Sniper, which should have arrived by then, on the AR in a Larue mount and the big Monarch back on the Savage. Complicated, but it'll leave me with the best glass I can afford in the right spot on the right gun. Those are high Burris XTR rings, btw. Perfect fit for the M-223 3-12x42. |
