I got lucky and snatched a set at OP before they went out of stock. They should be getting more soon.

Very nicely thought through.  All Tier 1 components on this rifle.

Are you going to suppress it with a M4-2000 or 30cal can?

Crappy cell phone pic. All are home builds. The ugly green monster was supposed to be the last build to mop up all my extra parts but I was shooting and saw a great deal on a Spikes stripped lower ($103 out the door) and I still had a BCM upper that needed a barrel, along with a handful of other parts that had been sitting on the shelf in the safe for a while. If you look close you'll see another stripped lower.

It's a disease. I have trouble passing up good deals. The EE can be an evil place to visit at times. The pistols are thrown in for decoration.

I like what you have done here.  One exception is the way you have your leupold mounted.  Put that glass in a quality la rue mount or adm recon mount.  You  started with a good scope now you need a good rock solid mount, and repeatability (accuraccy) will naturally follow. I just don't see the point of 1000$$ glass in a budget mount.

First AR build ever:
Aero Precision stripped upper
Sportsmans Guide barrel (yeah, the $89 one)
SOTA BCG
Matech and YHM sights
upper small parts by Fulton Armory

Stripped PSA lower
PSA classic lower build kit

Found the MOE handguard on eBay cheap, otherwise just a plain jane version to teach me about the platform.

Can't say enough about how big a help all of the posts on this website have been.  Thanks to all.

My first build, completed it last night! Spikes lower, Palmetto upper, Magpul stock and grip, Seekins BAR, DPMS 18" fluted bull barrel, Spikes NiB battle trigger and BCG, White oak charging handle, Knights antirotational pins, BASDASS safety, Magpul MBUS front and rear and Im sure more that I missed....

It woudl have been done in one night, except DPMS neglects to tell you that this barrel is over 1.00 inch until you email and ask with a problem. Apparently most barrel nuts are for 1.00" and smaller. We ended up having to machine the barrel nut for the Seekins rail and open the center a little. Seekings nut was exactly 1.001 and the barrel was 1.056".... in machine land, not even close to fitting. Now its 1.060 and fits like a GLOVE thanks to Gar-ray machine in Bel Air, MD. I wanted a Dissipator style going into this build for the long grip area and sight radius, I think I actually made out better! :)
HUGE thanks to my brother who is turning into quite the AR builder (he has more than a dozen of his own under his belt plus others he helped other people with). This was an AWESOME learning experience!
