I like the aero ultralight mounts, but I do have the vortex one and I'm pretty happy for the $70 I paid for it.

Here's a couple more in progress.

SR-15 E3 14.5" barrel (cut from 16") with a Rainier gas block
CMT UPUR-3 will be cerakoted, and the eventual lower will be a Quentin Defense with a 3MR trigger and SOPMOD. I used my Noveske SBR lower for this picture.

Also on my Noveske SBR lower:
Anderson LW upper half with a JP 14.5" middy and KAC URX3.1 13.5" handguard. Has a Knight's gas block.

Both uppers will get a pinned and welded brake upon completion of cerakote work, as I'll do them both at the same time.

Finished up this one tonight.

You know when something is meant to work out, because you've patiently waited for months to find the right chassis, and when you order a new muzzle brake to be employed on that rifle, it times perfectly without shims.

The upper and lower receiver fit is excellent.

The optic doesn't weigh down the gun.

And the rifle can be shot either RH or LH and present no discernible hindrance.

I'm going to like running this one.

My budget $800 AR build with optic didn't turn out so well. I price creeped and forgot about the 1 in front of the $800. Yes, it's just another build but at least it's built to how I want it.
