Here's my new build I just finished up yesterday after receiving the new Trijicon TR24G. Im not quite sure what I would classify this build as specifically, but I will run it at some local LE matches, and I may carry it as a duty rifle. I still have not made up my mind on a weapon light yet.

Here's the pics:

SPECS:

*LaRue "Stealth" M4 upper receiver

*Daniel Defense 16" Middy C/L barrel

*Daniel Defense F/A BCG

*PRI Rifle length carbon fiber handguard

*PRI GasBuster charging handle

*LaRue Low-Profile gas block

*Vltor VST-1 folding front sight

*Surefire MB556K muzzle brake

*MagPul M-BUS rear sight

And last, but certainly NOT least....

*Trijicon TR24G mounted in a LaRue LT-135 (1.93" height) mount

The lower is a S&W M&P15 stripped lower built-up with Colt lower receiver parts (standard Mil-Spec trigger). It also has a Vltor Emod, a Stark Equipment SE-1 grip, and a Phase-5 Tactical EBRv2 extended bolt release.

Range report coming soon....

Nice clean kit DirtBike.  I like the dremel work, but curious how much less abuse that stock could take now in a SHTF setting.

So that YHM split low-pro has enough give to get around a pinned Phantom?  Interesting... I think I need to change my barrel order then. =)

Thanks

Actually the gas block is a two piece....I said split didnt I....I'll change it.

I dont think the Wife would crack someone with the butt of the rifle, so I think the dremelled stock is safe......When I get the stamp, the POF will get a ACE SOCOM for bustin' skulls

The Socom Shorty is definitely the best for SBR stock.  It has the right look to compliment the front half.

Found a new toy last weekend.  Tired of waiting for my RRA upper that I ordered last December.  So I found a DPMS complete rifle with a full stock and changed out the DPMS trigger for a RRA 2-stage trigger and the RRA colapsible stock.  Picture shows the RRA lower but now the DPMS lower and upper are back together.

16" Varmint Barrel, Burris P.E.P.R. Scope Mount, Bushnell 3x9x40 Scope with Butler Creek Covers

Woot! Got my new DTI kit today, and had her together in a jiffy!

She's a 16" middy with a 1x9 CM heavy barrel, standard LPK on a Stag lower, has a YHM 4 Rail tube, YHM Flip Up Front Gas Block, Matech flip rear sight, and a Magpul MIAD grip with the large backstrap and the integrated trigger gaurd.

Only things that will be added in the near future are a Magpul MOE stock and XTM rail covers, other than that I'm pretty happy as is.

Pictured here with the E-Feux-Tech sight from my GSG-5 and joined by my Springfield XD-9 (as you can see, I dig OD green).

Here's my first build ever, and I love this gun, so be gentle on the criticism ...

Current components:
- RRA lower
- LMT upper
- Vltor EMOD stock
- Midwest two-piece free-float rails
- Troy BUIS
- Hogue grip was aftermarket
- Denny's Guns' BCG and Badger tac latch and CH
- Also got some XT rail covers on order

Saving up for:
- Trijicon ACOG TA11-H (hopefully they'll release it in green soon)
- M203

ETA: Sorry about the pic, google is weird sometimes - I think I fixed it.

Just completed my 1st DIY assembly tonight. It's a carbine build to get my feet wet, with plans for some future additions. (FF rail, optics, etc) My intentional usage is range plinker with some HD. Since this is my 1st, (and I'm not involved in active combat or LE situations) I didn't spend the $$$ on some of the more well known choices. Nonetheless, it will be a great gun for target practice, and SHTF purposes if needed.

Keyhole upper with M4 feed ramps
Complete BCM BCG
16" Chrome Moly 1-9 RHT HBAR Fluted with A2 compensator (not chrome lined)
Front sight post with bayonet lug (was told it's a pre-ban item)
AGP Arms lower
DPMS LPK
KNS Non-rotating pins Gen 2
Ergo grip
Magpul Al trigger guard
CAA Buttstock
Magpul window Mags
