Nice clean kit DirtBike. I like the dremel work, but curious how much less abuse that stock could take now in a SHTF setting.
So that YHM split low-pro has enough give to get around a pinned Phantom? Interesting... I think I need to change my barrel order then. =) |

I dont think the Wife would crack someone with the butt of the rifle, so I think the dremelled stock is safe......When I get the stamp, the POF will get a ACE SOCOM for bustin' skulls |

It has the right look to compliment the front half. |

Nice. KORE suspensions are very proven in Baja and other places. I drive a 1998 Chevy with a Full Throttle suspension with 38s.

Woot! Got my new DTI kit today, and had her together in a jiffy!
She's a 16" middy with a 1x9 CM heavy barrel, standard LPK on a Stag lower, has a YHM 4 Rail tube, YHM Flip Up Front Gas Block, Matech flip rear sight, and a Magpul MIAD grip with the large backstrap and the integrated trigger gaurd. Only things that will be added in the near future are a Magpul MOE stock and XTM rail covers, other than that I'm pretty happy as is. Pictured here with the E-Feux-Tech sight from my GSG-5 and joined by my Springfield XD-9 (as you can see, I dig OD green). http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a244/EchoOfGecko/Guns/P1010004.jpg |

Just completed my 1st DIY assembly tonight. It's a carbine build to get my feet wet, with plans for some future additions. (FF rail, optics, etc) My intentional usage is range plinker with some HD. Since this is my 1st, (and I'm not involved in active combat or LE situations) I didn't spend the $$$ on some of the more well known choices. Nonetheless, it will be a great gun for target practice, and SHTF purposes if needed.
