Its all Spike's and Magpul. I still want to put an EOTech XPS2 w/ 3X magnifier, Surefire X300 Ultra, and I'm still debating if I want to put a vertical foregrip.

Couldn't tell you the brand name. It's just a low profile gas block that was on the barrel when I bought it.

This is both my first ever Ar15 and my first pseudo build. I bought the lower at a local gun show for 100 bucks about a week before sandy hook.

RR lower kit (generic pistol grip that came with the kit till I decide which one I want and have more money)

Swapped the selector for a stag ambi selector

magpul stock

Stag arms 3ghl upper receiver (bought assembled. I don't have the tools to do the uppers... Yet)

Cheap scope as a place holder till I save up again for glass

And yes the ejection port is on the correct side of the weapon. LEFTY POWER!!!!

Still looking for ambi mag release, irons, and quality optics. But all the big money items are bought but the glass.

What barrel/rail combo are you running?  Looks like the suppressor will fit pretty flush to the rail?  I have a YHM in jail & trying to figure out what difference in rail and barrel length to go with to get the suppressor as close to flush as possible with the rail (using the flash suppressor mount also).

Thanks

I am using a 14.7 Craddock Precision Chambered in .300 Blackout. I am also using an SLR 13 inch Solo handguard on a billet Mega Upper and Lower. This my Carbine upper and I will make a SBR upper using an 8 inch barrel once I have possession of the can. I will also form 1 the lower at the same time. I pinned this one so I can use in the meantime. I believe it should be fairly close to the rail.. The Rail is very thin with a bigger barrel and well balanced. Overall I am quite pleased. NEed a few more components like optics and some ammo.... But that is another story

If directed at me.....

10.3"  DD barrel on a 10" MI GenII-T series.  I don't recommend it.  To get the front sight to sit flush with the end of the rail, I had to notch the rail.  In stock form there is a big void at the front with no rail slot and when the sight was installed there was a big gap to the end of the rail.

In Theory any 10" rail would look the same.  There is just enough room for a can to mount and sit flush with the end of the rail.  Hoping I will get the ball rolling on a can this year.

Yeah that's what I was trying to figure out - would 10" rail clear the suppressor on 10.5" barrel with that flash suppressor. Thanks for the close up pic showing how much room there is and for the heads up on that rail. I'll steer clear of that one and figure out another 10" to go with.

Thanks

I have a Simplistic Shooting Solutions Brake shield for mine to cut down on concussion for the people next to me at the range.  When mounted on the YHM QD the collar is almost compressed to being even with the end of the 10" rail.  I assume the back of the can would be the same way.

Mine:

Here is a pic of what I believe is a similar set up to mine with a 1.5" barrel instead of 10.3".  From WeaponsEvolution page:

Slight recommendation, feel free to ignore it. I think you would be better off getting something like a Burris PEPR 1-piece mount for that scope, so that it can mount completely to the upper and not also the handguard. I have one of those TROY TRX rails, and I wouldn't mount an optic on it.

I really like this. I think I would like it a little more if you did the 16" barrel. :)

I was thinking about that. Had these rings laying around. I think I may go for that though, thanks!
