No problem, thanks for the compliment.  I LOVE the rail.  Slim, lightweight, but very solid.  I built this as a K.I.S.S. carbine so I didn't want all the extra rail space and weight in there.  Only thing I would ever add would be a light and the forward rails would be perfect for that.  At about $180, the rail is hard to beat IMO.

nah.  lotsa people post pics multiple places.  if someone truly has an issue with it, they need to step back and figure out why they're getting upset that someone else put pictures of their own firearm in more than one place on the internet.  bigger issues than that in the world.

Figured I would add my new build, been lurking the forums for a while. The new beowulf just seemed like a good time to finally join and start posting.

Ground up beowulf build with a sightmark as a place holder till I find some other optics I want on sale.

KNS in backwards, POF trigger.  Never used KNS before and, of course installed backwards...

After many variations, and upper configurations, went with this setup:

CMT Lower
POF trigger
Seekins bolt catch and mag release

CMT Upper
Daniel Defense barrel
Noveske NSR
Battlecomp 1.5"
Troy front and rear folding sights

Not going to put an optic on it.  Great shooter.

Hi all.  First post.  I built this AR and another for my brother recently.  Parts were partially purchased prior to "the madness" this past winter, so the building took a bit longer to avoid being robbed blind.  The forums were very helpful and informative.  Love the rifle and I'm already in-process on building a 7.62x39 upper for myself.

Sorry for the crappy photos, all I have is my iPhone.  Now has a Primary arms 1-4x24 scope with mount.  I'll see if I can't upload that soon too.

Specs:
Del-Ton lower receiver
AR15.com billet upper
Stag LPK
Stag Buffer Tube/Buffer
Magpul Stock
Phase5 Tactical Carrier/Stag Bolt-Firing Pin-Cam Pin, etc.
Stag 16" Barrel - Carbine Length
Blackhawk Ergo Grip
Pro-Mag Vertical Grip
No-name drop-in Quad Rail
Primary arms 1-4x24 Scope with extended mount
Magpul flip-up rear sight

Spikes / PSA Dissipator

Panic lower from Primary Arms.
Post-panic upper from EE, although about two weeks after I bought they went on sale...
Gunfighter Mod 5 and AIM BCG.

I've been kicking around the idea of replacing the furniture with OD or Foliage, but didn't want to drop $250 to see what I liked. Instead, I used some Krylon Camo Fusion in OD. It came out matching my 'ranger green' stuff pretty well! I removed the sling QD after the fact and removed the paint with some thinner. I like the contrast of the black anodized QD...

This thing shoots INCREDIBLY well. After getting the carry handle set for RIBZ, I was hitting a 10" gong at 230 yards with not much effort. I'm amazed at how much the slightly longer sight radius helps me!

Sorry I don't have any other Magpul furniture to compare the color to...

Where does one get Krylon Fusion in 'camo green'? I don't even see it listed as a color on their website. I like how your furniture turned out quite a bit.

Any reason you went with a 1.5 bc vs a 1.0 bc on a 16" barrel? Thought the 1.5's were to bring OAL to 16" on a 14.5" barrel
