G2G. I love their CS. That's what sold me to begin with. They've gone out of their way. Also they stand behind their products. I had something once that was faulty... boom. Replaced it and paid for the shipping. No whining or arguing needed. When it comes to piston based AR, they will always have my business.

i got the AA setups in carbine in 6.8, middy and rifle (both in 5.56).
They all work once the 500 rounds break in is completed. However, the middy I feel is the best out me AA setups. |

Multiple people sending their rifles back, sometimes more than once. Accuracy issues, overgassing, mags not dropping free.... all kinda shit. I hate mine. I need to send it back and then sell it when (if?) it's running correctly. |

I have two AR-15's built from Adams kits and they have never let me down. I also have an AR-308 that runs like a clock. From what I understand early production AR-308's had gas issues due to the ammunition they used for development and it's been rectified. I will say, though, that had I read the negative reviews I likely wouldn't have purchased mine.

Got a 16" tactical elite upper, very accurate and very clean gun. Very well built, high quality rifle. Had it for about 3 yrs, very pleased.

Why do you feel that the mid gas if the best length? it is based on couple of things. The middy was the only setup that did not has issues with a wide range of ammo being used from the beginning. The rifle would not cycle with Russian crap until it was fully broken in. But the rifle was great when using regular xm193 loads and M855. And this was a time when ammo hoarding was at a ridiculously high. The carbine in 6.8 had a troublesome start due to ammo was hard to find on the stores shelves. The ammo I had at the time was not the greatest but it did help break in the setup. |

Have an AA carbine piston rifle, works fine. I carry a spare set of piston rod springs in the grip handle.
