M6A1-S and accuracy....?

Just picked up an upper, looks like it has a medium contour barrel. Anyone recommend what type of ammo shoots the best?

75 grain or above. You should be more specific about what upper you have. I know because I have two of them. 62 grain was horrible. 55 grain ugly 5" groups. 69 grain and above with the heavier bullet being more accurate. That's my findings. Not very scientific I know. Peace

Mine loved 77 grain SMK by Hornady, IMI, or Black Hills.

The barrel isn't taper as with the SL model, it's seems to be a medium contour.
Its marked "M6A1-S"

I have some IMI 77gr. on the way, can't wait to try it.....although, I was under the impression that the IMI is not noted for accuracy.
