Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - OPTIC FOR LWRC M6-G (A2)

I own a LWRC M-G (A2) and I want to add optics.  I was considering an EOTech 512-A65 Tactical.  I would occasionally hunt hogs with this rifle but it will be primarily self defense and range gun.
I wanted to get your thoughts on both the gun (too late I own) and the Optics for it (do not own).  I have also considered the Leopold HOG illuminated reticle or another 1x6x30+.
I would appreciate any recommendation and I want to stay under $500.00

Vortex Crossfire II - 1-4x24 with V-Brite reticle.  Nice scope/CQB sight for the money and it's within your price range (including a nice mount).

I took your advice.  Looks great and saved enough for a nice Vodoo tactical soft sided lockable case.
