I just picked up a PWS Mk110 Gen0 upper from a buddy.  I currently have it on a DPMS lower off an old DPMS Oracle, but want at some point to drop it onto a better lower.  Any functional advantages to sticking with a PWS lower?  I also have a recent NEA lower that I dropped a Geiselle S3G trigger into.  I have a 10.5" upper on the NEA, so not really in a hurry to split that up.  I have been told that the PWS doesn't always like a thin hammer face hammer (like the S3G) - any truth to that?

I could simply keep it on the DPMS lower and replace that trigger, or??? - Budget without trigger ~~ $800 +/-

Other thought or comments appreciated too.

No advantage to using a PWS stripped lower.  A lower is still just a lower unless you want to add ambi.

If so I'd consider an LWRC complete ambi lower.  Runs about $600 but it'd make a nice combo.  Then I'd swap in a PWS buffer tube.

The PWS lower receiver won't offer any functional advantage (ignoring any rear shelf difference and the ability to install full auto parts).  But, I have noticed that the PWS lowers are machined and finished very well, as good or better than anything else on the market (including Mega).  I think PWS lowers are actually made by Mega.  But I prefer the PWS lowers because they don't  have the silly atom like logo on the Megas.  You might also want to know that stripped PWS lowers can be very hard to find.

The PWS buffer tubes do offer a functional advantage.  There is an extended lip on the PWS buffer tubes which extends into the lower receiver slightly.  It helps to keep the bolt carrier perfectly straight (i.e., keeps it from tilting) when cycling.  I am fairly sure your PWS upper will run without the PWS buffer tube.  But if you like the idea of doing things as close to ideal as possible, get a PWS buffer tube.  It will work fine with all DI guns too.

Yes exactly, long stroke + ambi + anti-tilt would be IMHO ideal.

I run the PWS buffer tubes on all of my riffles that don't have UBR stocks.  IMO PWS makes the best tube out there.
