As a pre-qualifier I know this question has been asked before, and I actually may have asked this question myself about 2-3 years ago.

I did search, using google:
EXAMPLE:insertmyusername/AA/DD/mixture of those three and ar15.com
and came up with nothing.

Here are the questions I am wondering:

*Is the Daniel Defense barrel nut compatible with the Adams Arms piston system(as far as clearance and support)?
*Does the Daniel Defense Lite Carbine rail system offer enough clearance for the piston itself(if I remember correctly it does) ?

I would be willing to modify the rail to accommodate the original Adams Arms pistol length piston system(where the "gas block" is located).

I hope that made sense and any help would be appreciated.
