This AA 14.5 blem piston upper is superb. I got it then installed a Samson Evolution 7 FF Rail . It has a perfect balance and I get 2 inch groups at 100 yards with Razorcore 77 grain with an old Millett Zoom Dot on a Larue QD mount I had laying around . I will be replacing the Zoom Dot when funds are available with a Aimpoint mircro T1 . I fired over 200 rounds of mixed ammo , everything from Wolf to Razorcore and it ate it all without a single hiccup . A great upper and a great value . I used a Anderson Manufacturing lower and A Geissele SSA-E 3 gun trigger ,with a BCM gunfighter stock,buffer tube and carbine buffer. GI mags drop free but P Mags don't . All in all a great little piston carbine .

Length of time it took to be delivered? Most of their uppers shot a 3-4 week lead time i think.

8 days so far, and no email stating it shipped. Guess i will wait.... impatiently.

Don't worry ,you will get it . AA is not great with feed back on orders. In the end you will get a great upper and a fantastic price.

I wih the deal on the 14.5 blem uppers was still on I would order another one in a heartbeat.

Oh, they tried to deliver it today, signature required. I work, like most people. No notice of it shipping even though i checked the order yesterday. I had to tell UPS to release it without my signature. Hopefully it will be delivered tomorrow.

I did and nope! Very nice looking upper though. Not sure if i would call it a blem. The upper receiver had a small scratch UNDER the finish that was barely visible. Assuming it shoots well, i should be very happy with it.

I think you will be surprised how well it shoots, and I know you got one hell of a great deal on it , I don't expect them to run that deal agaoin ,but if the do I would grab another in a heart beat .

I DID get an excellent deal on it. Blem pricing, plus i think they had free shipping and maybe a little more off for President's Day. It pushed me over the edge as i was holding back for something else. Couldn't even find a used one for what i paid to get this one to my door.

I actually just got one of their 14.5 blem base uppers. When I saw they were on sale I jumped on it. I don't have much experience with piston guns but I took it to the range last week and it ran wolf gold without a hickup. I tuned the gas system to the suppressed setting just to see what would happen and it did not eject the spent brass, but that is expected. Ran 160 rounds perfect and was getting approximately 1.25" groups at 50 yards using magpul pro buis. Seems good to go so far, but this is far from a long term test.

Anyone who grabbed on of those 14.5 blem uppers got a lot more than they paid for . All of my friends who have shot mine were very impressed . [:D

Not sure , what I got was a 14.5 carbine base upper-pinned- blem , sku # FGAA0123-BLEM and it was $458.87 and a $22.94 discount for Presidents day , so the total was $435.93 . I feel like I got one hell of a great deal . I installed a Samson evolution series 7 FF handguard / rail on it that I got fro Jobob for $139.00 landed . So the whole thing cost me $574.93 . And I had fun cutting off the delta ring and installing the Samson 7, can't beat that .
