I had this carbine converted years ago when LWRC was still Leitner Wise. I'm looking for an extended rail system that will fit over the piston. I have large hands, and long arms, and the carbine length rails make shooting too cramped. What's out there that's not crazy expensive?

Samson manufactures a handguard system (EVOlution) with various lengths that SHOULD work. However, you'd have to trim the A2 post and completely remove the delta ring assembly, exposing the barrel nut.

I wanted to change out the A2 upper for a flattop, but was told by LWRC it cannot be done. The same goes for changing out the delta ring. At the time of the conversion they called me to bitch about how difficult it was to remove the FSB pins. It's a Bushy barrel, that's why.

Check with CDNN. They have mid-length LWRC M6 handguard that should be perfect. You will have to chop the gas block...or cut the top tail. I recommend cutting the rail.
