Hey folks, just bought an Adams Arms upper but I had a question on adjusting the gas setting.  It seems I can not turn the plug using my fingers.  Is it suppose to be tight on a brand new upper?  It wont budge in either direction.  Thanks!

No, should be pretty smooth.  Press the plunger button in and twist.

You may want to try spraying some lube or something on the front around where the plug fits in and let it soak?

Also, if it's not aligned properly it could make removing hard.  Try wiggling the op rod from inside the upper or from under the rail if you can reach it at all
while trying to remove the gas plug too.

Yeah, you are so right but I need to learn to read first.  I read it about 6 times and there it is clear as day...."Depress the detent button".
