Hey everyone, I have built a few DI rifles and had a Adams Arms piston kit under the bench begging to be built. So I decided to build a rifle I could just shoot for days and do it on the cheap so I went 7.62x39.

Rifle build is

Adams Arms .750 lite piston system
Samson Evo piston compatable rail
YHM fluted 16" barrel
Voodoo Jet comp
Liberty Gun works 7.62x39 bolt
WMD firing pin
Midwest Industries billet upper
VOW billet lower
VLTOR buffer tube
JP silent capture buffer with lighter spring
CMMG lower parts kit
Geissele SSA-E trigger
Magpul K2 grip
Larue Tactical RAT stock.( Need to duracoat this)
Modified ASC mags
Primary Arms Red Dot

Haven't gotten to put a lot of round thru it yet maybe this Friday but the limited test firing were all good
Once I modified the ASC mags. Love the piston setup.

Nice looking rifle, got a couple of x39  uppers my self, how did you have to modify the ASC mags?

Had to trim down the front of the mag as it was catching the case.

I am also have several ASC mags. Please post some pictures for modification of mags.
I want to some work on my mags.

I have trouble with rounds are not quite feed into the chamber smoothly.

Here is a stupid question.

Can you replace an AR15 7.62x39 mag spring with a AK47 mag spring?

Since the AR15 ASC spring is weak, I need to replace with a stiffer spring.
I looking into Wolff spring as a replacement.

How affective is the jet comp???

I love the feel of the jet comp. it is def not a flash hider lol. I have seen somewhere online where people have changed the ak springs into the asc mags.  There is a video on YouTube that tells you how to do the mag modifications. Just look up modifying 7.62x28 AR mags.
