Long time readers may remember a thread of mine a long time ago about Sarco supposedly getting these kits and building them out. That never happened and I never heard any more info about it.

Well here they are.

I'm going to be picking one of these up!

Shame it's just the upper though

Edit: Damn it, it was supposed to be T65s that Sarco was going to do. Oh well, still want one of these

It's funny though that the article says they are going to be building them on slick side A1 uppers but they are pictured on A3 uppers

Sarco's were supposed to be surplus examples if I recall the discussions that were floating around.  The Wolf imported items appear to be new production.  I suspect the election will have a big impact on if these ever make it to our shores here in the US.

Yes, there's were supposed to be surplus but built out with new barrels and lowers complete with correct markings. I did not realize that these were new production parts but doesn't make me want it less

Somebody needs to get the proper stocks here though!

they  won't be importing rifles, just the upper assembly, which isn't a firearm. so they may get through.

Looks like an A1 lower would be the right style use with this upper?

Sure, thanks dupe police

I didn't mean this an some exclusive breaking news it's just that many people don't bother to go into GD and thought folks here would be interested.

Just wear one of those nifty "Friday-the-13th" Taiwanese face shields. You'll look cool and the brass to the face won't hurt.  Double bonus.

Very cool! Got a black NDS A1 lower that needs a home. That telestock looks just like the old school type I have in the parts bin as well. Hope this thing happens.

I think there maybe some confusion on that:

16" CHF barrel w/ piston system and A1 carrying handle upper = T86

16" CHF barrel w/ piston system and flat-top upper = T91

Now there are some small difference in the muzzle device and gas-block but that's all between the two. Most of the T91 in service are issues with a detachable carry-handle and no optic, and has the small T86 style front sight installed.

Does anyone know where to find a buffer tube nut like this?

No, but any shop with a lathe and a knurling tool could make you one. Kinda neat.

I'm more interested in the A1 sights.

Oh, this one may be an interesting one to try and clone with the different selector positions and selecter too!

I like that carry handle and I know somebody makes a detachable A1 but this one has a different profile inside the handle part.
