Looks like I have missed the days of the affordable M16 A1 kits , I plan on
getting a Nodak Retro Lower but wanted to get a Original Upper if I can and Furnature
but will use a New made Barrel and new made small parts.

Is there a good source for a Colt Upper and BCG ??

In for curiosity. A while back, I wanted to build an A1 clone, non-functional, for a friend. Basically use A1 parts, and an 80% lower. Wanting to do this on the cheap, too. Something that could be turned into a functional rifle if he desired to do it later.
