So now I know that butt stocks like the C are made of black dye infused resin. Are the no drain hole early handguards made the same material? Can you see the fibers/mottling the same way.

I can tell you that the really early ones, look just like a the 601s as far as thickness and molding. they also appear to have the same filler and composition but just have the black dye added as referenced in the change document.



Here are a few I have been lucky enough to find. This has been my obsession for the last couple years, Luckily these haven't caught on yet and I haven't had to break the bank for them.... That said I would gladly hemorrhage money for them
