This is quickly becoming my favorite.

I zeroed the close range aperture at 100 yards, about where will the L aperture be zeroed?

That looks great! I've got plans for a near identical 11.5" build for use with an Allen Engineering suppressor.

Nice carbine and they feel even better with a fixed stock.

Thanks guys.

I'll get some more pictures this weekend.

The only original "retro" part on this gun is the rear sight aperture, I managed to get reproduction parts for pretty much everything else.

That's always a nice way to build them in that they cost less and you don't feel bad about beating them around and shooting them.

I think the only retro parts on mine at the upper, pistol grip and stock. Everything else was a repurposing of a modern carbine built in my youth.

Very nice builds. I'm working on one myself and had a question. On the straight walled delta ring - does the notched side go towards the front (facing the FSB) or to the rear (facing the receiver)? Dumb question, but I've never installed one before.

The deeper end of the slip ring faces the receiver. The shallow end faces the muzzle.

Nice carbine. I have a couple that are very similar.
