So I have some parts that were going to come together as a 653P...possibly an Isreali clone of some sorts. Then I considered having the Bubbaguns 96' dated 1/12 twist 14.5" LW barrel chopped and doing an XM177 clone of some sorts...but honestly due to my job situation I'll be moving before a F1 will ever clear on a lower to SBR any of these options, so I'm considering just selling off the parts and buying another 6920 instead. Honestly, a Troy XM177E2 would be correct enough for me, although I could finish this build for less. I just feel correct parts deserve a correct build...or as correct as possible.

Parts include:

SP-1 charging handle
Colt vinyl acetate stock
Colt 2pos buffer tube
Full circle buffer
Colt 6 hole handguards
Stripped Bubbaguns Saudi Contract Colt 14.5" barrel (1/12" twist)
A1 Colt Grip

I still need a lot and I can break even on the parts. Any thoughts on where to go with it...or ditch it all for a functioning rifle now. I've never been much of a collector. I would shoot this clone if I ever got it finished. "Technically" I could finish the build since I have an SBR'ed lower...but it would never be correct until I get an NDS lower finished and SBR'ed. Thoughts?

Pin and weld an extended flash hider on the barrel and build an M16A1 carbine. You've got all the correct parts for it.

Does anyone make an extended A1? I already have a 6520 Govt Carbine so an M16A1 clone isn't that far off or different. That's sort of why I trended towards an XM build.

I vote 723! You could sell the stock for enough $ to get a correct upper and lower and N1 stock.

Already have a few N/1's rolling around somewhere too. I guess the problem is I bought a bunch of parts and now I'm not sure if I want to commit.  Again, even a 723 is still not very different from the 6520 I use as a truck gun.
