Where's a good spot to meet up?  How about the taller bleacher seats, end nearest the building, at a specified time?     I'm not positive I'm going to be there yet..........last minute stuff always seems to come up, but I hope to be there.

I probably won't get there until about 5:00, I have to work Saturday.

Going to try to do a quick run through the booths as I'm looking for a few things and maybe go down to the lower range for a rental but most of my downtime will be up near the main range I think.

Sounds good to me.
Wear a pink carnation on your lapel so I know how to find you.

We can dump our loot on a table at my hotel so check it out after the show.
I'm at Holliday Inn Hurstbourne right now.
I'll be at the show early each day. I'll probably leave around 3:00 or 4:00 each day. I like to beat the rush to happy hour.

I'll be on the search for triangle hand guards, stocks, seatbelt slings, etc.

Scored some Edgewater buffers last year.

Did you see any M1 helmet liners there?

Going to see if I can complete my Vietnam era helmet if I can.

Wow,  I got in the pole barn at 9. I didn't see those bags, Grips, slings, or handguards.  There was nothing older 601ish that I saw. I saw a guy displaying a B stock, 601 stripped upper, armalite waffle mag, and grip. Saw one D stock for 20, a C or D set for 40, and that was it. No m16/at sling but three 80s black compression buckle slings. Pretty disappointing. I'd love to have found a chrome bcg. I didn't even see many bcgs. I didnt see much I was looking for. No deals on ammo

Got out of there relatively late last night. Really wasn't much there at a reasonable price, I ended up with a new stock for my M1, a blem flat top upper and a mustard sling for my AKS...

It seems that going there with the plans to pick up a specific item never works out, I'm happy with what I did get hough.

I always have a list of what I'm looking for. I saw none of what I have written down. That CDVS booth always has some cool stuff. A12 is the location.  I got 1,000 pulled 223 tracer bullets for 60 bucks!

The SarCO booth was a lot to be desired after years of cool stuff being there.

Yeah, they used to have a lot of cool stuff. Always heinously over priced but, cool to look at at least. One old guy said something to the effect of, "10 years ago I asked you to come down on the price, maybe in another 10 years you finally will." That's kind of how I feel about them more often than not.

As always, I'd love to have more cash. I already know most of the good stuff will be snapped up early Friday, if not Thursday before the show even opens. I saw quite a few odds and ends I'd like to have picked up but didn't have enough to spare.

I did find some grey charging handles in a box of blems some guy was selling. I thought I was crazy and the light might be playing tricks on me. Should have bought more.

I stayed on the line from 7 to 11 and watched the shooting. Saw one of the guys put 480 rounds through a 10 inch AK as fast as possible. He caught it on fire and ended up with a bent and cracked barrel. Could smell the wood burning from 20 feet away.

Hey guys. I was set up there again this year. I'm the guy who had the B stock, pistol grip, waffle mag and 601 upper on display. I got to meet coctailer in person. Helluva good guy. It was pretty slim on retro parts again. Most of it gets bought up on Thursday during set up. I'll be setting up again in April. If you guys are looking for stuff, let me know and I'll be happy to dig around for it on Thursday before it opens.

You met me too, just don't know it. I'm the guy that told you bout buying the 5 dollar 601 right handguard last year.   Your table was one of the good tables this year....The pre show on Thursday would be cool to be involved with as I figure the good stuff gets bought at that time.

Haha, very true story. I told one guy more in the back, and he said was it from me? It really wasn't and I told him if it had actually been, I wouldn't have told him as he'd have felt bad about it.

They had some cast FSBs last year, along with some edgewaters for a great price. I guess I'm still bitter about the XM148 parts he used to have.

Where were you set up? I missed all the Friday fun and didn't see any 601 stuff Saturday.

I picked up 8 Colt SP1 no tic semi auto selectors, 2 1N stocks and 100 Colt 30 round mags. I also picked up 5 GM bolts with extractors for $100 I plan to turn as I have no need for them. I couldn't let them sit there for $20 each. Not to much for retro stuff this year.
