Who has pencil barrels in stock?  Prefer one finished along with a FSB installed, but a stripped in the white barrel would work as well.  Seems these are hard to find.

Looking for a 20" rifle as well as a 16" carbine barrel.

These (20") barrels are really nice:

Fulton Armory's lightweight barrel is probably the closest to what you want in 20" without an FSB. I've seen a few from other companies but they either had .750" FSBs or were out of stock.

They have 16" barrels for sale as well.

Dang it all!  They didn't have these Colt barrels when I ordered mine. I bought the J&T/Doublestar. http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/barrel-parts/rifle-barrels/ar-15-m16-5-56-carbine-barrels-prod23131.aspx?avs|Make_3=AR-15zz1zzM4 Not disappointed in the barrel but would have bought the Colt.

John,

Are the markings on those GM barrels under the handguards?

The last Green Mountain barrels I saw were not marked in a visible location... they may not have been marked at all (going from memory).  That is one of the things I like about them.

Brownell's is a good choice for a completed barrel and their 20" A1 should no be shipping with the proper, non-F Marked FSB's. GM Barrels are a good choice for a stripped, especially now that they released a version of their 20" with standard M16 feed ramps

Please be aware that on my spreadsheet,I do not have profile info for anything but 20" barrels. If a true A1 profile is what you want for a 16", I'd check with other sources as well. Green Mountain does post their profile dimensions for their barrels though.

Yes indeed, and thanks for putting the info together. I also "reported" your post to the moderators and asked that it be set to not archive and that it be added to the Information Links thread at the top of the forum. Hopefully that will happen; it's a great resource.

Ar15 sport.com. I've used a few of their 20" barrels no problems
