I can't see it as being retro, but then again, what does it matter ? Still a great rifle.

I wouldn't mind having one of their early A2 handguard flattop SR25 20" barrel rifles.

I heard that the Remington made barrels for the earlier rifles but I know the Mk11 had the Obermeyers.

Some guns are automatically Retro. For this one, you'd have to fill out the appropriate forms with an explanation and full documentation as to why you believe it's Retro-qualified.
