I love the musical score as well--it sounds like every B Sci Fi movie from the 50s, less the warbling flying saucer.

Neat video, thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the "from the hip" position. I wonder why the Air Force stopped teaching it?

In the late 70s, they had a variation, still.  It was "Assault on Line"  Using this position, you advanced forward in a line towards the enemy.  I thought charging the enemy in a line (Napoleonic tactics) went out with the Civil War!  Several of us that had been in the Army prior to joining the unit thought they were NUTS, and told them so!
