I finally got my NDS XM16E1 Lower, and M16 Lower Parts kit. ( No, no Full Auto fire Control Parts) also picked up a Chrome M16 Bolt and original charging handle and buffer / spring.
so about 90% of this rifle is original.       |

Nice build did you find a chromed BCG or have to send it off like I did when I guilt mine in 07?

Where did you get your bipod? I've been looking at some surplus units at Numrich, but I am not sure if they will fit the skinny barrel profile. Need to get one soon to help with the sighting in process on my retro build!
BTW - Nice build!

They are all over Gunbroker and the non Colt marked ones are cheap. $25.00 and up depending on condition, pouch, etc.. |

I wanted to go more authentic by using Original M16 hammer selector and trigger but those parts are full Auto and regulated by the NFA. I thought it was just the Full Auto Sear that you could not have in a lower without the paperwork.. but it's all full auto FCG parts. |

Nice pics. Except maybe swap out the M855 for some M193. & of course lose the tac latch CH.
