I ask this because I am seeing sparse items available (for my own opinion) on major sites like gunbroker and armslist.

I have 2 pre-ban M16 uppers that came with my MG that I want to get rid of. Uzitalk seems to have a dead classified sections.

Is there some site or forum I can utilize to move this stuff?

IM me and I'll give you all the contacts for Sellers/FFL's who sell and buy preban lowers from out of state.

also, what is this stock/tube/buffer (complete system) worth?

I do not think it is a colt product

Preban uppers are just worth what any surplus upper of its type is. Their age doesn't mean anything special. the Arfcom EE is an good as any. They sell here all the time for typical prices.

Ban-compliant uppers are worth slightly more in ban states, and much less everywhere else.

Preban LOWERs are worth real money in ban states and if you had any of those I'd suggest selling on a regional site like Northeastshooters.

I misread his post and thought he said preban lowers.

I think OP should market them more as retro uppers and not "preban" one's.

Best market to sell them is on our own EE, equipment exchange.

If you just want to get some idea of values first, you can try posting in the appraisal thread in the retro forum stickies.

The Equipment exchange would be a good place to post once you decide on a price. No bidding, just straight sell for set price.
So you not think the stock is a Colt? Any markings under any side of the lever?

Oh, I would never start a bidding war, etc. I'm a straight shooter.

I will look at the stock more closely when I see it next. Where would markings be? Under the lever that allows the stock to retract, etc? Any other areas?
