This barrel is a 1/7 twist A1 profile pencil barrel marked CMP 5.56 Nato 1/7, it would be perfect for a M16A1E1 Clone. I've never seen one marked like this ever and it appears to be brand new, just when you thought you've seen everything something like this pops up.

I should have bought a bunch at $400.

I'd pay that for one or more of these barrels if new, they are the best of both worlds A1 profile and 1/7 twist. I'm sure they didn't make many of them either so the value should just keep climbing.

Fulton Armory makes a similar barrel. If you aren't a collector.

I am a collector but would use one of those Fulton barrels either on a 605 retro clone that would have the markings chopped off anyway, or buy to cut down to 13" for an IDF Carbine barrel and install a Colt FSB.
