One of the guys in the gang had an M16a1 last season, I'd imagine that's where Darrel got it. Very cool.

One of the trailers had some clues. Can't remember the character's name (played by Michael Culditz) yelled something like "go"or "now" right before a flashbang or a teargas canister went off in the train car, so I imagine that they were preparing themselves for that eventuality and are going to try to give the Terminus A-holes the bum's rush as they open the doors.

It occurs to me that the fact that the A1 in the walking dead has a carry handle is the only reason it even has a rear sight, I don't know how many times I've seen an AR with no sights on there.

I just watched the new Captain America a few nights ago and noticed the same thing.

You mean to tell me those super killy child slaughtering assault rifles' bullets require aiming!?!? I also like how they are all amazing shots without a rear sight...

I've been lazy all week watching the older episodes and forgot all the crappy cgi muzzle flashes.... without even an action animation or recoil.... wth guys, can't yall afford blanks!?

Beyond that, gotta love TWD! Can't wait for tomorrow

Probably because they're rubber prop guns and molding the rear sight in is probably a pain in the ass.

That was an XM16E1 the guy in the gang had, and it had a 3 prong FH on it. If your talking about the group of guys that had the bow, Mosin M44, etc that Daryl fell in with. He had a 30 round mag in it with duct tape at the bottom, essentially a poor mans Magpul.

So I'm sucked into it but I'm yelling at the TV quite frequently.

Continuity Director needs to have his ass handed to him in his own hat.

Plot holes out the wazoo.

(Reasons I NOW remember I didn't make it past the first episode when originally aired.)

My Fam is fluent in TWD so I am playing catch up but DAYUM I hates me some characters!

Hate Andrea. Hate Lori. Ricks an ass and if this was REAL deal he'd get them all killed!

I like Daryl but he's a walking stereotype thus far with glints of actually being a human being.

Glen hasn't pissed me off yet but I'n SURE he's about do to work my last nerve.

Herschel seems nice now but I sense he will become a HUGE dick.

Script is pretty predictable. I've called many plot twists well in advance.

Dinner's ready and then I'll yell at the TV some more.

(It's the old man thing to do!)

The dude that plays Daryl is a Florida boy too (Hollywood, FL though so the boy probably aint never hunted anything but tail.) and is apparently is the most popular character nationwide. So much so that .......well I don't want to spoil it for anyone else......but I've heard THINGS!

Still enjoying it. My wife thinks I've read up on the plots because I keep seeing things coming from a mile away. Hey TV is pretty predictable. (But I've heard the directors like to switch things up a bit.)

As a writer, I'm usually pretty critical, but at the same time I understand just how hard it can be to write well and come up with something unique. I'm pretty good at suspending belief for a couple hours, but sometimes I just call BS and shut the damn thing off. Haven't had it on at all last 2 days - too busy.

I hear ya Bro.

There are just some things that get my goat.

Like Lori is the worst mom in the history of the world! That dayum Carl (who names their bitty baby Carl anyway?) he wanders all around walker land all alone all the time! She NEVER knows where his at. "Have you seen Carl?"   SLAP!

Rick running full speed through walkers ONE ARM CHEST HIGH OUT TO THE SIDE CARRYING a duffle bag full of long arms and ammo? (Not to mention the barrels flopping around like noodles! hehehe)

The RV dies on the highway and never gets fixed before they pack up and drive off? (Only to break down again on the interstate but at least that time they fix it)

I am pretty good at suspending disbelief but Rick's altruism (yea I get it! He's trying to stay "human" and civilized but the world has gone to shit and it is NOT civilized) in reality would have gotten their group killed in the first season.

I have NO idea why ANY OF THEM are still alive! But it IS a great show. I'm diggin it.

I'm happy with the losses thus far for the most part. There's one more I'd like to see gone but I've accidentally heard they have survived to the new season.

Someone is still preggers but they got a new place to flop at this point. (Starting season 2.)

Merle's back and he's batting for the other team now. (Easy to see THAT coming! )

Nothing like a good Series Binge!

2 more episodes on Season 4.

Saw a 3 prong when Rick was hiding under the bed. Rifle looked all gray from a distance.

Not the one Daryl's holding.

I'm diggin' Tyreese's M1 Carbine with the adjustable sight and the earlier front band too. Hating the chewed on M2 stock but glad it wasn't a nice I cut getting banged around in hollyweird.

I believe that's an XM16E1 the Claimed gang member has and yes it's susposed to be the same gun Daryl uses in season 5 but it's obviously a different gun with a birdcage. I like the Mosin M44, it's a very effective zombie killer with the pig sticker and big 54r round. Glen has it in season 5.

Took the A train this morning so I'm ready for the first 2 episodes on season 5 from the DVR.

They've had some pretty cool REALLY retro firearms on the show.

Carl had a cool looking lever action at the prison. I didn't bother trying to see what make but pretty sure it wasn't a Whine Chester.

SKS with spike bayo and the extended mag thing (and a paper clip ) would be a good Zombie dispatcher too!

IIRCC the 30round mag thing was detachable so you didn't just have to use stripper clips. Never owned one personally except for one with a VN era presentation plate screwed to the stock that I got out of the garbage!

Carol didn't use that on the tank - It was either an AR15 or possibly an AR10. She sure turned out to be a badass eh?

Morg she used a bottle rocket in the barrel of the M1 Carbine to blow up the propane tank. The inital shot came from an automatic scoped 5.56 varient.
