Pictures look great, and the seller is trying to move it, so a reasonable offer would most likely land this. It looks minty from the pictures I've seen, so check it out 
RUTGERS95 bought the rifle and didn't do his homework, rifle has to leave the state of NJ or be held at the FFL til he sells it. |

I've got one exactly like that. I should sell it and get into the .308 game as I already have 2 other 5.56 ARs. Is there a big demand for these?

Every year from now on, a block of them automatically become C&R eligible, as they pass the 50-year old mark (first SP1s made in 1964) - which allows people to buy and sell them interstate on a C&R license, and makes them grandfathered for owners in a ban state like New York or Colorado. Of course they're all pre-ban for people in CT and other states where that might still matter.

Is that a typical price for one of those? Here in MA any junk '80s AR with a pre-ban receiver has a $1K+ asking price.

RUTGERS95 found out today he can't own this rifle in NJ as it's banned by name. He called me 3 days too late as I already bought another, he's looking to sell it as it has to either leave the state or stay in the FFL's possesion until he sells it.
