Thanks to dfvaulter, I just scored the following from the EE:

10 - Colt 20 Round magazines, alloy follower, 'UI'/Universal Industries stamp, correct floor plates, pre ban manufacture

I got a really good deal on these that I could not refuse. It is very hard to find these mags for a decent price. My retros love me even more now.

Only eight for now, but there is no problem having spares.

dfvaulter is a great asset to this place, I can't even count how many times I've gotten great deals from him by just shooting him an IM and asking what he has for sale.

At least two loaded mags per rifle is a good starting figure. You are set for now.

Very nice score.  Always nice to find a bundle of 20's.  Doubt if one could ever have too many especially when price is right.  Buy them when you find them.  I kinda draw the line around 70 functioning AR 5.56/.223 mags at any particular time but I can't resist a good retro deal either.

A couple of years ago my girlfriend called and asked if AR15 mags were something that I liked,    She was at a little store in a town of 300 and she said he wanted 5 bucks a piece.   I asked the guy if any were Colt mags, he said all of them were..   I said well how many do you have, he counted 57.   I offered him 250 for the whole
box.  He agreed and my girlfriend paid him.    After the weekend she brought them to me and to my surprise they were all .223 marked aluminum follower mags,  I am still with this girl as I probably should be,   she pays attention.

jrs93accord, that is a Great Score in my opinion !  You can never have enough 20rd mags,Never !!!

I have 2 empty 7-pocket bandoleers that I am currently trying to fill with 20rd mags.  It's slow going, but I have faith, that it's not impossible.

If, and when I get close to getting the 2nd bandoleer filled, I guess I'm going to have to find some more bandoleers, or just get some 20rd mag pouches.
