SO I pulled the trigger on an NDS A1 lower.  The bitch about it is that it is on backorder with no ETA.  I hope it is not to long.  Anyone have any idea how long they usually take?  Thanks!

they are done in batches and they fill the orders in the order they were received so depending on when the next batch is planned and how many of them were presold will determine your wait.

so in other words, it's ready when you get the call or email.

I really liked talking to him.  Seems very honest and forthcoming.  I was going to get it weathered and he said it wouldn't look right.  I think that was nice of him to do, so I didn thave to waste my money,

It was nine months to the day from NDS emailing a verification they received my order, to these receivers showing up at my LGS. Well worth the wait. Now what's really bugging me is saving money to get the barrel work finished. I feel like an addict jonesing for a fix.

Mike and Harlan are great gents and have treated me well. They are slammed though. I placed another order about a month ago, and given all ive read if its 6-8 months, i would think thats good. Something tells me it may (will) be longer...

I'm so glad I ordered a few of each style NDS lowers 3-4 years ago, because I am not a patient man and we (CT) got nailed again with the AWB and cannot purchase anymore newly manufactured  lowers. Now it's down to what lowers we have stocked up on prior to April 1st 2013 and prebans, which cost $600 - $1000 depending on the model and how badly you want, deep your pockets are. I'm not a fan of having to register all my semi auto rifles that take mags of 10 rounds or more and having to register all my hi-cap mags.
