Just put this one together today, going to range test tomorrow
Spikes 7.5" upper RRA lower (waiting on Spikes bare lower to get here) CMMG LPK Phase 5 tube, buffer assy. Magpul bus Eotech 512 or 516 (haven't decided yet) Soon to have KX3 7/20/13 update - all is good. 200 rds of various ammo,no problems at all.I guess I put my first lower together right .I'm still wondering why I waited so long to build an AR pistol. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v43/Vinmaster/SpikePistol_zps99162734.jpg |

That's an Ace pistol buffer tube, and it's held in place with the sling mount, which keeps the SB15 from going all the way forward and "locking" (not really, but sorta) into the notch in the stock locking ring (which it obviously doesn't have). Might have to use a different buffer tube but I'll still be stuck on the sling attachment. Only reason I don't like it exactly the way it is is because the SB15 is able to twist on the tube with more than a little pressure. |

What is that attachment on the buffer tube? It looks like it could provide more stability than the caa saddle I have on mine.

My (unrealistic) AR Pistol mock up with some spare parts that were laying around. If anyone knows a good machinist that can make this work with a LP gas block lemme know! Since this picture I have gotten a Seekins MCSR that will wrap a 8.5" Noveske bbl nicely when it gets in... |

I don't think I can make that work with the mid-length hand guard and still get this look. Plus the pig is too wide to fit inside, so I'd have to go with a longer barrel than what I want.
