What billet upper receiver is that? Looks interesting!

The upper receiver is a sun devil billet . I do not know if you can get them anymore, they were replaced with ones that have a forward assist.

Well just got mine done!



Armalite lower
Lower came with NM 2 stage trigger, the sping for the hammer pin retainer went MIA so had to go with the KNS pins
Spikes buffer tube and ST2 Buffer,
BCM Carrier and bolt
LMT 10.5 inch Upper

Form 1 is done, just have to send it off with a check

Alright I can play now! Just finished ar 45 pistol with my .223 in their soon to be new home.

I picked up a ‘lightly used’ AR15 pistol grip the other day; "the Stark® SE-1™" and IMO, the grip is an ascetically attractive (pretty cool looking) ergonomically designed, and quite a comfortable grip at that, and unlike the other aftermarket grips that I have used; i.e. Hogue® OM™, Magpul® MAID™, CAA® G27™ and as you can see from the images below, when this Stark® SE-1™ grip mounts, it fully covers the aft trigger guard ears of the lower receiver when installed.

The grip originally comes fitted with a slotted screw fastener for locking down the incorporated trigger guard; so beings that I hate slotted screws, I quickly headed over to the local hardware store, ‘Tacoma Screw Products, Inc’ and picked up an allen-wrench replacement fastener; as this is a much cleaner, and much more secure mounting fastener.

No. Just the gas block, barrel and crush washer.

The build came out great, you have a sweet looking operator there. Take it to the range and have a blast.

Old Bushmaster carbine buffer tube that I modified by filling in the holes with some hard puddy. I then cross drilled the back side of the buffer, tapped it and put some machince screws in. Then covered it with an ACE replacement foam.

Thinking about one of those Spike's buffer tube covers, but I really like the bare tube ...

How solid is the TRX tube? I like the smaller diameter and have never needed 5 miles of rail...
I WAS trying to figure out how to fit my bufferless recoil/gas system under one, and still be able to disassemble it quickly, haven't quite got it figured out yet...

First pistol, 5.56, the next (in progress) is 6.8spc and will be SBR'd at a later date with an ACE folding stock...

Yea having it on a pistol since I can't use a Lower Grip. Not really any need to have a lower rail. I like the lightness of the thing. Helps out with the weight of the PWS CQB supressor. Still looking for a good way to get the Supressor indexted a little better... I thought the Rail would slip over the Suppressor but it won't go. I had to put it on after the fact. I got it pretty tight but its not indexed. I don't think it really matters because its under the rail...

Very nice. What rail is that? I'm also curious how you got that CAA stock saddle secured.

My new build. CMMG 10.5 upper and SM lower with buffer just delivered from PK Firearms. Hope to try it out this weekend.

Just got the magpul front sight last week, to finish off my pistol for now.......

Just completed this today. A Colt 10.5" 9mm upper, S&W lower, Splkes buffer assembly and a Hahn block. Hope the weather is nice enough to shoot it this weekend,
