What kind of gas block are you using to hold the MOE hand guard on?

The gas block is under the handguard and the MOE is held in place by a standard handguard cap followed up with an industrial two piece set screw 5/8" clamp on the barrel putting rearward pressure on the handguard cap to hold it in place. I think I'm going to swap out the clamp for an extra thick washer because the clamp overlaps about 1/8" of thread for the muzzle brake and just use a second crush washer to create pressure on the washer/handguard cap.

Just finished up my New Frontier Polymer AR. I'm going to test it out, plastic guts and all. Price was right. Bought from http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/
Future plans do include a Spikes enhanced LPK, but while those are sold out I'm going to use what it came with. Changed the grip to a magpul MIAD because that is what I'm used to.

7.5" 416 STAINLESS STEEL 5.56 NATO. 1-9 RH M4 feedramps, RED-X A3 upper, Red-X free float. Some type of pistol buffer tube and unknown buffer. Spikes m-16 bolt, etc.
Upper was built by John , "Vanderjack" on Gunbroker. Look him up. He has a lot of products, is extremely friendly, and his service so far is excellent. The s/n is JRZY on ar15.com

Parts are showing up all the time for this and I have yet to make it to the range so I'll update with pictures as this progresses. An eotech 512 for now but I'm going to go to flip ups I think.

Sorry for the poor picture. I don't have a better pic ATM.

Thanks to all of the people willing to share info on these in this forum, this is my first AR pistol.  Having the ATF docs available really helped.

Rainier CE10 upper, Controlled Chaos Arms lower (Seekins built on a variance), Geissele SSA-E, AimPoint PRO, Vltor A5 tube/buffer, BCM "flat dark earth" grip.  It's obviously tan.  Maybe they're tritanopes?

Click to embiggen!

ACE extension with a cut down cane tip and 10-32 x 1/2 hex bolt into the threaded end... Holds the tip on it and doesn't protrude.
I'm happy with how it turned out

I wanted to post my new toy that will be SBR'ed soon.  Red X Upper, 7.5" 1:9 SS barrel, Red X free floated rail, Red X chrome BCG, JD Machine lower, Magpul add-on (grips, BUIS, etc) and a "cheesey" PA Micro Dot.

Shoots well, about 800 rounds so far.  Setup for a range toy and truck gun.

Same here.  That's all you need for a range toy/truck gun.  Plus PA has a good reputation.

Oh I agree about the PA Micro Dot.  This is my 5th :)  4 Others on Ak's ... I love these units.  It was more of tongue in cheek :)  I will put it in quotes.

Now that is sharp, I've been looking for a free float rail for mine and I really like the look of the Red X.

Just got the final parts in for my first AR pistol today.  Now if the paperwork for my AAC SDN6 would just come through.

If anyone is looking for a 300 BLK upper this one from CMMG is impressive.  Very tight fit with my PSA lower, good finish, well-built, and the right price.  Their new handguard is very comfortable and customizable and it's not big and bulky.  I would definitely recommend it.
