Well, this one is an evolution. I was never happy with the un-solid-ness of the handguard situation so I swapped out for a free float. Then found these 1911 grips. Then decided I like the Hera Arms linear comp better.

I'll stick to looks, since usage turns into a legal issue... but the new SB braces arguably look better than the Shockwave. I seem to be the minority, but I think the Shockwave looks too small and kinda odd. Prefer the Thordsen for looks and far superior cheek weld. That's just me. Too each his own.

Pistol fits perfectly in a Bulldog Ultra Compact 29" Discreet Carry case that is actually meant to carry a broken down full size AR. Still need to get it to the range and actually put some rounds through it but totally happy with it so far.

I have the same upper being delivered today! I also bought the shockwave blade as well. Excited for my first pistol. I have 2 other 16 in. AR's.

I have been looking for a rail-to-rail mounting solution for quite some time, But seemingly never came across that Ordinance Group mount. I'll be buying one of the longer mounts.

My new AR pistol chambered in 7.62 X 39. A 7.5 inch barrel. A railed gas block, 4 inch free float hand guard and flip up sights and a directional style flash hider. The upper is a K.A.Tactical with A PSA bolt carrier and a 7.62 bolt of unknown manufacture. A Tennessee Arms polymer lower with my Fire Department logo engraved on the right side and an Anderson Arms lower parts kit. The red dot is an inexpensive one I picked up in a trade a while ago. Future plans include a Shockwave blade and tube. Range testing and photos to follow.
