Fwiw. That Blackhawk racket/gun case. Sorta doesn't look like it, but fits easily at 28" OAL. But not much more after that and it'll get tight.

It really seems just as strong. No flex at all. I don't strap it on anyway. I mainly just use a cheekweld on it, but like I said it doesn't seem to compromise the structural integrity at all.

How do you like the rail? Concerned about the outside diameter being too fat for my tastes but haven't been able to fondle one yet.

Yeah, it's a single stage.  It's a great trigger, my favorite update on this rifle for sure.  Never tried the 2 stage CMC so I can't really comment on it.

What kind of buffer tube and how does the CAA saddle work on it?

It's a fixed Thorsden enhanced kit that comes with the CAA saddle.  Milspec buffer and it's quite sturdy and works very well.  No hotlink but here's the details.

there are two pieces that act as adapters to fill in the space to get it to fit right
highly advise watching a YouTube video or two on how to put it together or you'll end up like me working it like a Chinese puzzle; but once you see it, it is like AWW SHIT this is easy.

Very nice.
Must be noted that with the blade (Shockwave),while our pistols do not look entirely like 'the real deal' (respectively to SBR alternatives and military originals) a huge leap forward has been made.

I can finally genuinely like AR pistol builds.

Yes - It is Karris... and I do like it and everything is tighter than Dick's hatband... I think I may have to just function test it before I get some BUIS to put on it.

I got the thing all together at the fun show with an anderson lower

Here is the upper... http://www.karrisguns.com/catalog/product/kg-venom-skm-556-pistol-upper

Although I really like the look of the 9" rail and a linear comp...

I thought you could not put a rifle buffer tube on a pistol? Isn't this considered a SBR now?

Link Posted: 1/29/2016 10:57:22 PM EDT
[Last Edit: DieselElectric] [#46]
As long as there's not a stock attached to it, or a stock on hand that can't be fitted to another rifle, it's legal.  A buffer tube is not a stock.

Only reason I went with it is because I'm waiting for a stamp.
