Did some "lightening up" on my shockwave pistol brace. Don't know about weight savings, but it looks a whole lot better!

No flex at all. I don't strap it on anyway. I mainly just use a cheekweld on it, but like I said it doesn't seem to compromise the structural integrity at all. |

Thanks! It's a lot of fun at the range and a weekly shooter. Originally Posted By vette10r:

It's a fixed Thorsden enhanced kit that comes with the CAA saddle. Milspec buffer and it's quite sturdy and works very well. No hotlink but here's the details.

Very nice.
Must be noted that with the blade (Shockwave),while our pistols do not look entirely like 'the real deal' (respectively to SBR alternatives and military originals) a huge leap forward has been made. I can finally genuinely like AR pistol builds. |

Yes - It is Karris... and I do like it and everything is tighter than Dick's hatband... I think I may have to just function test it before I get some BUIS to put on it. I got the thing all together at the fun show with an anderson lower Here is the upper... http://www.karrisguns.com/catalog/product/kg-venom-skm-556-pistol-upper Although I really like the look of the 9" rail and a linear comp... |

Isn't this considered a SBR now? |

As long as there's not a stock attached to it, or a stock on hand that can't be fitted to another rifle, it's legal. A buffer tube is not a stock.
Only reason I went with it is because I'm waiting for a stamp. |
