Damn man! I like that one! Here's mine... it's in .40 S&W, I'll build a .223 one soon...

Two of my pistols together.
Here is my Spike's with 7" DD Lite rail, ergo grip and KX3
7" barrel (spacer to clear the rail)

that is the shit right there. almost got my lower complete for teh same build. the upper is a ways off though. drag.

Spikes pistol lower
Spikes pistol plug
7.5 inch Model 1 Sales dedicated barrel and chamber adapter hooked on a Ceiner kit
9MM upper receiver with a standard ejection port door
Pistol hand guard from JT Distributing
Spikes 6 inch fake can
Primary Arms Micro Dot
I haven't got to fire it yet in the present configuration.
very nice. so no buffer tube is needed? is that because the bolt doesn't have to go back as far for a 9mm? sorry, I'm a bit new to AR pistols

No buffer tube needed for a dedicated .22 upper.
ETA: It says a 9mm upper, but it's got a .22 magazine. I'm confused now.

i believe he's talking about the upper reciever and not the "upper." That receiver looks like a dedicated 9mm and I think he used it with a 22lr barrel and dedicated bolt feeding it all with a bdm mag.
not !00% though

This is correct. I purchased a stripped 9MM upper receiver and installed a standard ejection port door. The 22LR adapter doesn't need the gas tube, forward assist, or shell deflector. This also gave me the slick sided, lighter weight build I was trying to achieve.
9MM upper receiver (also purchased from Model 1 Sales)
Model 1 Sales 7.5 inch 22LR dedicated barrel installed
