Dang, I thought someone stole my pistol, REVBCO, I have a near identical one to that. The only difference is I used MEGAs billet upper and lower, and no foam on the tube. I would have pics, but its about 150 miles away at the moment.

7.62x39. Plum crazy lower. Citadel 7.5" barrel. Troy TRX extreme rail.
Wanted super lightweight, and I got it. The rail and polymer lower saved me a pound in just those two parts...

Aren't the plum crazy lowers sold with stock attached? I wasn't aware they sold virgin lowers.

Edit: If in fact they do could you direct me to them?

You have a PM...

I confirmed that they were not assembled as rifles. A receiver is a receiver, until mated with an upper, it's still a receiver, regardless of  the tube/buttstock/etc attached to it.

Hal Lockett on GunBroker was briefly selling stripped Plum Crazy lowers back in June? 2010. I got one for $75/ Free shipping. The bolt catch spring pin I used got stuck in the blind hole, but Plum Crazy came through and fixed everything. I'm pleased. (Shopping for an Adams Arms 7.5" PDW upper to complete it.)

Good god, you need a registered SBR lower to go with that. It'll look like a midget is dangling from your necklace.

What optics?

They do. $300 though...
ASA Arms (have to mill a notch in your carrier, or they offer the notched carrier for an added $75)

http://www.americanspiritarms.com/images/products/asa-ur-ftsc.jpg

I assume that this upper still requires a buffer tube even though the charging handle has been relocated.  Is this correct?  Or did they fit some internal springs in there to get rid of the buffer tube?

Still requires the buffer tube.

I thought about building another folding bufferless SBR (see the pistol in my avatar) with an ASA upper, just because of the low-profile handle.

My most recent one has the charging handle on top of the handguard so it's thin and doesn't snag on anything...

Man, I'm starting to get some evil ideas... I can see it now. A 7.5 to 9" barrel, side charging, suppressed 300 BLK shooting subsonics. No gas in the face.

Is there a manufacturer that makes a left side charger? I'm right handed but I feel like I'd like to charge the weapon with me weak hand while maintaining my shooting grip.

Yeah, baby !!! Another seven six two pistol !!

Mine stayed in pistol form for roughly 2 saturdays.........then I stuck it in the dark corner of my closet, and it mutated into a SBR over the course of 3 months........due to lack of "recoil enjoyment"
