where do you get a 4.75 inch barrel?
Whose hand-guard?
Muzzle device, please?

Looks like a chopped Daniel handguard. I got my 4.75" from KAK, but I do believe SLR Rifleworks offers one. I am mid build on a 4.75" 300BLK.

Course! At least there's you and I. As long as we can do what we do along with the rest of the country (at least more or less) it's good for me, brother.

ETA Oh and updated, essentially now definitive pics of my current passion, older looking KISS 'pistols'

That green-gray-black that is visually (to me) so desirable.

So here it is. Also, the SBA3 has been updated with an SBA3 Splitfix in black which I find works tremendously well.

This is the cleanest, most to the point, functional, practical build I've seen on this WHOLE thread. Everything you need, nothing you don't. You don't see a lot of people still using the LMT fixed rear sight. It's solid and purposeful. You'll see my build shortly looking almost identical, exception being the red dot sight. I run an old issued M68.

Thanks brother. But you know why? Sign of age: getting old!
We get old, we get to the core of what we really need.

Looking forward to seeing yours!

I bought it as a PSA kit - 8.5” barrel, 300 BLK. I have $365 total on the gun, plus another $310 in the optic, QD mount, grip, and rail.

I agree, it's an excellent looking package. What barrel length is this one? 10.5"? I think this particular pistol is the one that has convinced me to get a kit.

Appreciate you guys.
It's a Colt upper of 10.3" length - from the factory. I think it was a Mk18 mod 0.
I bought it for that reason and then, of course, we trick it out in different ways.

Right now it's really cool in that particular configuration - as you noticed.

My Black Friday Special - Aero Precision M4E1 lower and LPK, M4E1 Enhanced upper, 8" .300 Blk barrel, 9" quantum rail, SBA3 brace and Midwest flash can.  BCG and CH are also AP.  Went with a JP adjustable block.  Thinking about a Vortex StrikeFire II for optic.  This is my second build.

ETA: Now a registered SBR as of 4/17/2023 per ATF Rule 2021R-08F.

I actually had a "notify me when in stock" subscription and forgot about it. Once it came in I ordered one. I was disappointed they took a week of processing before shipping it, I expected better based on past experiences but given the holiday season it is forgivable.

Install was too easy and IMO it appears well made. The spring loaded extension makes for a quick deploy. Flipping off safety on a standard safety is not easy, but unless you are wearing plates I don't see much shooting it while retracted. If you have facial hair, keep it on the pad and away from the castle nut, I lost some hair trying it from the collapsed position.

I don't have experience with the Maxim, the price tag was just too heavy. But with multiple positions and having a larger "brace" (as opposed to fin/stabilizer), I am sure it is more comfortable than the Strike. But for me $300-$400 is just not justifiable. Frankly the Law Folder and SBA3 is my favorite. The SBA3 looks great, feels great. When folded no extra length is added to the rear of the receiver set. I haven't shot with the Strike PDW yet but there is just simply no way it is as comfortable as the SBA3.

Rethought the whole reason I wanted an AR pistol:
Stripped down, light weight.
From the top:
Rex Silentium low concussive device
Troy front folder
Trijicon ACOG RX01NSN
IDF rear folder
IDF sling.

In the process of filing my SBR paperwork.
