My first AR pistol.
Attached File I bought it as a PSA kit - 8.5” barrel, 300 BLK. I have $365 total on the gun, plus another $310 in the optic, QD mount, grip, and rail. |

Right now it's really cool in that particular configuration - as you noticed. |

Nice. I think I want to build one like this, but with a tailhook brace.

I've got an inch a half guard rail nut on a length of 550 cord. It's not whiz-bang tactical, but one smack in the grape and it's coloring books for Christmas.

The spring loaded extension makes for a quick deploy. Flipping off safety on a standard safety is not easy, but unless you are wearing plates I don't see much shooting it while retracted. If you have facial hair, keep it on the pad and away from the castle nut, I lost some hair trying it from the collapsed position. I don't have experience with the Maxim, the price tag was just too heavy. But with multiple positions and having a larger "brace" (as opposed to fin/stabilizer), I am sure it is more comfortable than the Strike. But for me $300-$400 is just not justifiable. Frankly the Law Folder and SBA3 is my favorite. The SBA3 looks great, feels great. When folded no extra length is added to the rear of the receiver set. I haven't shot with the Strike PDW yet but there is just simply no way it is as comfortable as the SBA3. |

Like the color mix. Unusual.
