Added a Sig Romeo 4 on a Larue HK mount, and changed the upper to an Odin Works Billet. Also added an Odin Works extended mag release, Strike Industries dust cover, extended take down pins, and trigger guard.

Finally got a change to run the BFS III trigger too. What a glorious waste of ammo.

This one is nearly complete.
Still looking at getting a weapons light with pressure switch and possibly a few other add on's.
I'm still debating if I want to FDE the receivers only, or the handguard only

Also currently building a 14.5'' spr profile upper that will be scoped for this lower.

My take on a mini "pistol" SPR build
14.5" fluted Ballistic Advantage Premium Barrel
I'm still looking at changing out the quadrail, gasblock and adding a few things.

That should be a sick looking build with the Aero receivers, what hand guard is that? I like the "fish mouth" look at the end of it

Thanks. Its a STNGR HWK. Not very expensive, but I was really impressed with it when I received it, so I decided to use if for this build

I like variety in most things, but I think the Tailhook Mod1 is the best thing to happen to AR pistols...so I went all in.

Red trigger guards are 300BLK. The little guy is a Glock format AR9.

That's quite slick looking! I'm thinking of something like that in either 9mm or 300blk. That handguard looks great in that configuration.

Have you had a chance to shoot it much?
How does that hand guard handle heat?

thanks
havent shot it yet....im going to be running it with 10rd mags to keep it slim....so i cant imagine it getting too hot.....ide be willing to bet a few mag dumps would get it uncomfortably warm though

haha not quite sure yet....trying to think of a slim sighting solution and preferably without batteries.....currently thinking about going with a SeeAll sight.......or maybe a set of BUIS on the top rail

Reconfigured my Colt 11.5" FBI/HRT barreled pistol.  My older eyes don't work with carry handle iron sights like they did when I was in my 20s.  Put on an EOTech 552 and a Streamlight Rail Mount 1 with a Haley Thorntail SBR mount.

I'm not going to argue with the advice given on this patch. It's a dangerous world we live in.  Smart hat lol.  Buddy of mine got it for me from Patriot Patch Co.  I love it. Thought it was a great opportunity to take a new picture somewhere else now that my cans are free from NFA jail finally.

My small contribution...
This is the second AR pistol for me and it's purpose was a simple/inexpensive AR pistol to keep in the car.  Including the PSA pistol kit, lower, used CAR handguard, iron sight and KAK mini comp I have total of $355 in to it.  I fired 400 round last weekend and it functioned perfectly.  Once sighted in, it was almost easy to consistently hit 8" steel plates from 65 yards off hand using the cheap Chinese iron sight.

This is my first AR pistol that I use for hunting hogs at close range.

It's same length as A2 and about same weight but is effective in directing all the muzzle blast out the front.  It makes it much more comfortable to shoot than with the A2.  To top it off, it looks good too.

Ive got the same build to keep in the 4Runner.

Did you shoot it with the original flash hider before switching to the KAK? How is the difference?

Yes, I did shoot it with the A2 flash hider before changing to the KAK.  The muzzle blast and noise with the original A2 was very noticeably compared to 16" carbines with A2.  With ear protection it wasn't noticeable but without the ear protection just one shot was painful.  With the KAK the nose and muzzle blast is like shooting my 22" AR with no muzzle device.
