Q sells them on their website along with the other required components to build your own Honey Badger-esque franken gun.

I think they've been sold out for some time now. Not 100% sure though. It's a super nice barrel though and works well with my Sig can that was designed with the tapered barrel in mind.

My same old recycled pictures.

So, what's it going to take then?

I was gathering up parts for my build for the better part of last summer and fall and never saw one.

I was looking at them last night and I thought there was an option to just buy the barrel without the assembly, but now it looks like they have taken most of the site down or something since I can't access any of those pages.

Do you have any accuracy reports with supers? I plan on shooting subs 99.9% of the time but want to use it as a lightweight deer gun in the fall.

Finally got off my butt and ordered an 8.2" Rosco barrel, that should be arriving on Friday.

Still not sure if I wanna go "Tucked" with the suppressor under the handguard, or as flush as possible with the end of it.

I love both looks (and I'll be honest, it's all about looks with this, because I sure wouldn't be gripping the handguard anywhere near where it's over the can if I go that route!)

Anybody have a suppressed 8.2/8.3/8.5 barrel setup thats not tucked?

Anyways... Pic thread and all

My 300 blackouts are my favorite to shoot right now. Wish the price of ammo would drop about 40% more.

ETA: @slowkota1 That bottom one is an 8.3" with an 8.5" URX4. If I could go back in time I would have gone with an 8.5" barrel because right now the 5/8x24 direct thread mount is stuck with no real way to get it off. I can still unscrew the can and use it on other guns with different adapters, but I don't like the idea of shooting that 8.3 unsuppressed with the adapters exposed threads on the end of it. Any ideas on how to get that sucker off so I can put a comp on and shoot unsuppressed would be welcome. TLDR; Make sure you can access the back of your mount if necessary.

You can always get someone like Rusty Cans to fab you a 3-4" tube with the same thread pitch that will screw onto you DT adapter and act as a blast can. That's what I did.

This happened to my 9k under a urx4, too!

I liberally applied rocksett to the threads of the can and the stuck adapter and tightened it as much as I could and let it sit for like a week. When I tried again, the rocksett was stronger than the carbon buildup and the whole can came off.

Alternatively, you could do the same and then shoot it a few times, which would affect the carbon more than the rocksett, then use a leather glove, etc to unscrew it.

Ya... I'm already having issues with my new keymo adapter setup getting stuck on my 5.56 sbr. My can just unscrews from the adapter, and I'm not trying to rocksett it because I like the option of easily switching to a Direct Thread mount for rimfire.
Cancelled my order for a 7" Larue LAT rail, and was going to say screw it and get a 10-13" URX 4... But the stuck mount thing worries me now lol.

ETA: Pic thread... So close to quiet subsonic Pew's

My current setup, minus the newly-added pistol grip. It's at IWI right now, getting a lefty conversion. The Surefire mag is just a range toy, although it hasn't failed me yet. Also, I find it very frustrating that IWI isn't importing an SBR conversion kit for this caliber. And I'm not interested in a trigger pack; I like the factory one just fine.

I need better quality pics, but here is my 12.5” 300 AAC pistol.

AAC branded 12.5” 300 AAC upper
LMT MARS-L lower
LaRue MBT flat face
SBA3
Wilcox RAPTAR ES LITE (desperately need to update the light head).
Trijicon SRS on a KDG riser

I really want one of the shorter AAC uppers to pair with this one. Or an SR30 (that $$ though which would pair nicely with both this rifle and with my SR15). If I manage to acquire either one, at that point I’ll SBR one of my LMT MARS-L lowers (or acquire an ADM UIC lower to SBR).

SPEER TNT 125 over 18.2 gr of H110.

SPEER Gold Dot over 17.7 gr of H110.

Speer needs to release a lower weight GD for 300 AAC. Something along the lines of their 123 gr 7.62R bullet would be a nice starting point.
