Beautiful day for shooting in Southern Nevada.
Worked out the bugs on a new load. 180 grain Sierra Prohunter Spitzers over 15 grains of H110. CCI 41 primers. It needs an H3 or full rifle buffer, I think. Attached File Attached File Best, JBR |

Thanks!
The load is a heavy supersonic, trying to replicate .44 Mag/Automag loads in 180 grain. I was blowing primers. I swapped in a rifle length tube and buffer (no stock) and it ran fine. So, I will upgrade my H2 buffer to H3. Best, JBR |

Finally get to post in this thread! Need some rail covers, an optic, and a 7 inch bar rail to swap over for when the can isn't in use. |

I'll hopefully get it to the range next week to see how it functions... I'm in only semi-charted waters with this thing AFAIK. If it works well I'm probably going to build another with a LAW folder to be even more compact. |

It is a bit front heavy with the PVS 30 but it was fun shooting subs in the backyard.
The rifle is a 2A Arms Balios light (upper, lower, rail, Cerakoted Sniper Grey) 2A Arms take down pins, Badger Ti bolt catch, V7 Barrel/gas block fluted, V7 Ti mag catch, V7 Ti grip screw(friends make fun of this part often), V7 Ti castle nut/end plate, V7 receiver extension, V7 Ti selector, Geisielle SSA, JP LMOS, JP SCS, Magpul CTR stock, MOE K Grip, Trijicon TA 31 with Green 300 BLK reticle, Bobro qd base, Bobro Low Profile BUIS. SilencerCo Omega. I went all out on this little guy and it is always a crowd favorite. ETA: The PTS 233 would be fun on this guy, might try that when I get home. |

Rebuilding the .300. Stuck between doing a 10.5 with a 1-4 or going shorter with a red dot... any suggestions? Either one would either have a Geissele rail or an URX4

I am currently running a 2-7 scope with 45 degree BUIS. I reload so it helps with grouping at longer distances. That being said, I switch to a 5moa red dot (BSA cheapo) between range trips for Home Defense. |

I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

I made a cutout in the rear to fit over the rail's bolts, and chopped the front handstop off so I could use the taller Impact Weapons Components barrier stop/handstop. The front of the AFG was hollowed, and the IWC handstop rear was trimmed and the front MLOK anti-rotation bits were filed off. The reason I did this is because the barrel is so short I was concerned about inadvertently putting my hand too far forward; the taller handstop should help with that while giving some texture for using barriers Other parts are just milspec. |

They also price match if you find something cheaper elsewhere. Not affiliated at all - I bought the upper receiver, barrel, muzzle device, and gas tube from them. Between sales pricing & price matching I saved a bunch of money Build details |

My rifle was too long, so I spent $200 and waited 6 months to make it shorter. Then it was too loud, so I spent another $200 and waited another 6 months to make it quieter. This made it longer again.
