Thanks man. That was an 8" (or 8.5" can't remember) with 13" URX 4. I've since shortened it to a 6.25" barrel with a 10.75" URX 4 M-Lok. This is how it sits now:

I'll have to say that's a different combination of parts than I've seen before, but looks pretty good.  Any reason you went with a folding front sight and a carry handle rear?  I like the carry handle rear and would have expected to see a non-folding front sight to go with it.  But it works just fine as it is  too, and if it is accurate, that is what counts!

Thanks! I got the carry handle off a friend and plan on getting a 1-4 or 1-6 scope so I just picked up the folding front sight for the time being and when I eventually get the scope I will pick up a matching folding rear as well. I put 20 rounds through it so far to test for function and it runs great but hope to get some tests on accuracy here soon!

Quick mock up. Waiting on my 6.25 KAK barrel. Suppressor should stick out between .5"-1" from the end of rail.
This is 1" from the end of rail.

Ditched the MFR. The set screw design made the rail not be 100% center to the bore. So the latch on my N6 was touching the rail. Looked good though!

Buddy of mine had an extra KMR he wasn't going to use. So we put it on the lathe and chopped it to 5.5in. How its sitting for now until I can decide between a 10.75 URX4, MI SP, Or Aero rail. I really want an 10-11in handguard that has at least a 1.6 ID that isn't hideous looking. Any suggestions?

While the looks department is subjective, the seekins MCSR meets your other requirements.  If you like the look, I can vouch for its sturdiness and ease of use.  Had one on an upper I eventually sold but loved that rail.  I had the 15" so it was a bit on the heavy side, but it was also an HBAR upper (yay maryland) so I wasn't looking at weight savings on that rifle.

So is it a 2 stamp gun or a 3 stamp gun?
I asked when you first came up with it, but I think you were still looking into it.
I'm guessing 3, since your rear can has it's own SN...

I'm guessing 3 as well. Wasn't the Honey Badger a 2 stamp suppressor?

Is the barrel ported with a can around it and then a muzzle attached suppressor too?

Honey Badger was a 2-stamp gun, SBR and thread-on suppressor

But yeah, he's got a ported barrel on this one, venting into the rear expansion chamber, then a thread-on can in front of that.
Since the rear chamber is sealed, it's techically a suppressor itself.

Yep, 3.  All stamps are approved.  The lower is actually a factory SBRed arfcom lower.

I just finished setting the gas valve up in my minimill to cut the groove for the detent.  End mill snapped as soon as it hit metal.  So now I'm stuck for a few days until a new one shows up.

The Honey Badger was supposedly a 3 stamper as well.  I've heard claims there was an expansion chamber under the handguard.  But I've never seen schematics or a disassembled one, so I don't know for sure.

Chopped KMR to 5.5in

If you look at the top of this page, I'm the one that used the 10.75" URX 4 with a similar setup. Although I knew everything going in to it, I can't say I'd recommend it unless you're willing to live with the tradeoffs.

Ever since the Spikes Compressor first came out, I've always been a little put off by the Spikes/Seekins BAR rails. I bought one and it felt HUGE in the hand. And both Spikes and Seekins tend to make things that aren't really my style. But, I noticed that they have a new M-Lok version of their handguard out and I think it looks really nice. The M-Lok cutouts balance the rail out and make it look a little bit simpler/nicer. And it comes in 12" which is the perfect length (unlike the URX-4 which the closest you can get is 10.75" and that causes the can to stick out farther than I'd like). And even better it's only $180 $160. The way the rail buts up against the receiver by the barrel nut also is one of the nicest looking of all the designs out there. IMO I think this is the most optimal rail for this purpose right now. I'm considering picking one up myself and swapping out the URX.
