Is that as far as the SBX will slip on? Thanks! That's as far as the SBX goes. I didn't realize that I needed the KAK spacer kit even if I stuffed the stock brace all the way in... it's on the way now to fill that ugly gap. I haven't compared the two but maybe the SB15 is a little longer? My SB15 fits perfectly on my old KAK tube. |

Thanks for replying. I have both waiting for me under the tree, but I didn't realize it would fall short either.

Samson Quick Flip PVS14/Magnifier Interlocking Mount - QF-PVS14-EO
Caught it on sale from Amazon over the holidays, aside from the PVS-14, itself, and the can, probably the single most expensive part on the weapon. It does work very, very well and the flip to the side feature and quick on/off ability make it nearly a must-have for use with the NV, IMO. The Vortex SPARC II optic ahead of the PVS-14 works exceptionally well, too. The lowest brightness setting gives a very clearly defined aiming point w/o risking burning the screen. I used a pig tail pistol length gas tube. The increased dwell time allows running subsonics much easier, with or without the Phantom can. |
