Ready for the woods tomorrow on opening day here in Indiana.  Have to shoot it in pistol config as a rifle shooting a rifle round is not allowed, but a pistol shooting a rifle round is.  Strange, I know.

Camo is DIY from camo vinyl tape.  Works good on the flat surfaces, but not so much on the rounded surfaces like the hand guard.  Works for what I'll be doing, which is 2 weeks (hopefully less) of hunting.

Just got my PSA 300 BLK upper in today.  Since I blew the last of my funny money getting the upper, I'll have to wait a bit for an optic.  Here are some crappy cell phone pics in the meantime:

Another picture of my 300BLK SBR upper on a pistol lower.  Along with 1 very dead deer that succumbed to lead poisoning.

Entry wound is not visible, but it just behind the right shoulder (near the edge of the flash hider in the picture).  Exit wound was finger sized and included some lung tissue hanging out.  Heart was completely destroyed.

How you like the Alpha barrel?
I have had one for months now but haven't picked up a rail system yet to finish my upper to shoot it. Same goes for my 7.5" 5.56 Alpha barrel.

I don't know yet, I just got it together.  I didn't really find any negative reviews so hopefully all will be well.

I also don't have any ammo, and still need to order a couple of things to get going on reloading.

I might try to pick up a box of ammo if anybody local carries it, just to function check.

I have everything to reload EXCEPT powder. There is a localish guy down where I work in LA that has a metric shit ton of powders, but he is almost 2 hours away and I just can't pull myself to driving that far just for powder. His prices are only a couple dollars over what Midway wants as well, minus the hazmat fees.

My 3rd 300BLK... first non SBR.  AR-Stoner 16" Lighter Weight 5R barrel in an AERO COP monolithic upper.  Ritt dyed the OD stock and some OD XTMs to reddish brown.  Currently straight pull with gas block tightened down backward / covering the gas port.  Didn't bother timing the comp as its just a suppressor host.  Loaded up 50 pills over red dot powder... should be ultra quiet.

I haven't kept up on CT's new awb-ish laws, does making it straight-pull make this exempt from registration or something?  beautiful build by the way!
